Unless you have been convicted in a court then nothing will show up if seeking other employment.. it was a error of judgement so maybe this will teach you , crime does not pay LOL ♥

You make a couple confusing remarks. "I was taken in my AP", what is an "AP"?? ". . .he said he gave me a ticket", did you actually get a copy of this ticket? What does it charge you with?

In California, shoplifting an item worth more that $400 is Grand Theft. It can be charged as a Misdemeanor, resulting in a fine and/or jail time up to a year in a county jail. It can also be charged as a Felony, resulting in a fine and/or jail time in a State prison for up to 16 months.

If a POLICE OFFICER actually issued you an official citation then you probably were charged with a Misdemeanor. Since this is a first offense and the property was recovered, you are most likely looking at a fine up to $400, but maybe less.

Since you are 18, you now have an adult criminal record. However, this is not the end of the world. You would be surprised how many people have stepped on their ***** and recovered to go on to successful careers. It's just going to take more hard work on your part.

If asked about your theft record you tell them you were dazzled by a pretty face and did something stupid. You paid a steep price and learned a painful lesson. You then hope your new boss gives you a second chance.

Good luck. . .

You are caught stealing, by what a circuit camera in your work place? Ah your under pressure that is why you committed the crime of theft. Not a very convincing alibi if i were the judge in your case. Since you already talk to your AP? I think he will arrange that the incident will definitely stay off the record, if you convince him/her that much. No definitely not that you will find it harder to find a job since you are not convicted and you are not line up in the police station, so you got no record of larceny if any. You can virtually work anywhere you like or pleases, even go abroad.

If you are arrested, it is not grand, by merely the name itself GRAND it means big, if you call $649 a big amount. If you stole a ferrari probably or a lamborgini. Relax. You get over it.

Why did u give it to her hmm? was she attractive and u wanted her to like you? so u did her a favor. Well just dont give into those pretty girls anymore, you never get what you want at the end. And as for finding a new job, admit to your new employer you knew what you did was wrong, but have learned from your wrongs and it wont happen again, employers dont wanna hear excuses. So what you did may effect the chances of you getting the job, the attitude you take towards it will can really hurt or help you. Rememeber, you theres plenty of girls out there. but your criminal record you only get one chance at. but if you keep yourself clean and redeem yourself through community service and what not to just prove youre responsible.

If charges were never filed, you should not have a problem getting a job, because you were never convicted of a crime. It will, however remain on your arrest record, if you were actually arrested. Steer away from any shady situations, because when the police check your records, you will show up as having been arrested before for theft, and it will look good for you.

Just wondering - how many times are you going to ask this question? Keep asking until you get an answer you like?
Is twice enough or will we see this again?

If your charged with a crime my guess is they will charge you with 503 PC embezzlement and may add on Grand theft;

Stupid move, did you think they weren't watching? They always do...

You're just going to have to roll with the punches on this one, peer pressure is a load of crap - you knew what was right and wrong, man.

Sorry.
