they are strapped in with a adult, also they have there own seats, if you allow a child in your car with no seat beat, then you are a very silly person, all kids should be strapped in and all adults, the seat belt will save your live, keep safe, all the best

. Seat belt laws are stupid PERIOD. You don't have to wear one in a school bus because there are none. In WI you also do not have to wear a helmet on a motor cycle but you do on a bike. It's a big line of crap so cops have an excuse to pull you over. Reason for taxi's is that you cant be DUI in a taxi so they don't care. I have had several seat belt tickets and still laugh about it. You can die because of a seat belt being on you but have you ever heard of anyone dying because they wore a helmet? Legislators should have worn a belt and a helmet when they stuck their heads up their A$$es. I know I'm speaking of the U.S. but Canada is similar. Baby's do not pay taxes. maybe that has something to do with it. Airplanes do but buses do not. Why. Like a belt in a plane crash will do anything but help to identify bodies by the seat number? Stupid laws!!!

Whatever the law, the parent's concern should be for their baby's safety, and they should bring a suitably-sized car seat with them when they travel with their baby. It is not the taxi's responsibility to provide or set up this car seat.
The baby should definitely NOT be strapped directly into a seat belt, since these are designed for adults and can seriously harm or kill the baby in an accident.

The parent wear the seatbelt and the baby must be seated on the lap with the parent embracing the baby while on transit. If not, a special baby crib is fastened to the car seat and the baby is secured with a belt.

Because there is no point putting:
'Please make sure your baby wears a seat belt to keep the baby seat secure'
As many individuals like yourself that can't spell probably wouldn't be able to read it either as they aren't literate enough so they don't bother.
Only joking! :)) No idea, sorry.
