yes that is there job to be like that, that's why people are scared off them, just don't open your door, but they can go away and bring back the police, so you are better just paying all your debts, rather than them banging on your front door, keep safe, all the best

There is a limit to what they can do. But the average person confronted by bailiffs doesn't really know their powers and what they are allowed to do, and the bailiffs know this and will use threats and intimidation to achieve their ends. If they were nice and polite all the time they would not have much success in the work they are there to do, .

Well of course. To maintain control of belligerent rear ends in a court room, sometimes being threatening and intimidating is the only thing the recipient will understand.

No don't think so, they can be forceful but not physically. They can be firm, the threats that they are allowed to make are about removing your furniture. They aren't allowed to threaten you with violence.

No, neither can they demand entry to your property. You have the right to refuse them entry. You can also complain to the police if they intimidate you.

I have met few that are. One that was finally got fired...for sexual assault.
If you are acting obnoxiously and being disruptive, you bet they can be both of the above!
I know many that do their job well, and are neither! That isn't their job!
