Another puzzled Brit question! Why are polygraph tests carried out in the US if they are not admissible in court? (They are not done here in the UK to my knowledge.) Why bother doing them at all?

Does anyone thinks the Virginia Tech massacre gunman might of gotten some ideas from the movie " The Number 23 "
for his mental illness behavior? He is 23 years old and he killed a total of 32 people, thats opposite of 23 right?..and much more after I started calculating alot of things he does in numbers, if you think you might know one let me know? thanks

What happens if bullets costs $5,000 each, handguns are $10,000 each & only the police/federal government were able to use them. How would society be like? I know people would start using knives and other ways of weapons.

If they're physically assaulted isn't it their own fault for being hit. Like escorting is at their own risk right if they're independent?

a UCLA police car could he give me speeding ticket
even though we are BOTH OFF CAMPUS?

I keep getting speeding tickets. I need a radar detector that is reasonably priced and that works the best. I live in california so i also need one that is up to date with the radar guns of the local police. Also, do all radar detectors make the radar gun unable to read my speed? or does it just detect radar? Cause i need one that does both cause it might be too late when it is detected...

I was wondering if LEO's are in favor of citizens having CCW / gun-carry licenses or not? I've actually heard police officers take both sides of the argument. Just wondering.
