my ex-wife repeatedly ignores our "first right of refusal" order in our dissolution. Simply put, if one of us cannot be with our children on our allotted time(50/50 shared parenting), we have to allow the other one to be with them...it is contempt of a court order, but will the court do anything about it?

Hello,

I have a good friend of mine who was "clocked" at 51 in a 35 zone today. The ticketing too place in Ohio, but the friend lives in PA. Now the officer was coming in the other lane and claims to have used Radar to clock it. The friend was only truthfully doing about 5 or 6 over the legal limit at the time, also, there were several cars in front of the vehicle. The ticket cost is over $300 and is causing financial difficulty. Is there anyone that can be done to get rid of the ticket?

What is the fine for grand theft check writing charge?

Last year I was told by an overseas client that I had a wire pending. For $70,000. Since he had paid previously in amounts of $35,000 and $15,000 on 4 occasions I had no reason to think it wouldn't. When he gave me confirmation I wrote a check to my mother in law
for $16000 and to my wife to be put into a savings account. When he at first said the wire was delayed I told the bank to hold and redeposit. When he said he couldn't I asked everyone to cancel checks. The bank wouldn't cancel the 2 checks. And then apparently have tried to charge me with grand theft - I guess they don't know it's my mother in law and think I tried to defraud - does anyone have any thoughts? I've never even had a jaywalking ticket but to sleep at night would like to hear this will be dropped or if anyone knows the fine I can pay to avoid a jail sentence for something I didn't do - I have an autistic child and want them to stop

Yea I know Clinton lied-but don't the Billy Bob Chrsitian types consider Adultry breaking Gods law-they have forgiven him (Gingrich) but they still hate Clinton.

I'm trying to understand why so many speeding tickets are given to individuals. Is going 80 in a 70 really all that dangerous? Is going 50 in a 40 all that bad? Depending on the conditions of the road is it dangerous but in many situations it is not.

From what I've seen the biggest cause of accidents is tailgating. I would like to see more tickets given for this and back off the speeding tickets. Just take a drive down the road and there is a 85% chance you will spot more than one person tailgating another.

Here is another good one. How many of you come to acomplete stop at every single stop sign you encounter? There is a good chance that you roll through a sign here or there because you can clearly see that traffic is clear and you can proceed. A lot of these signs can be replaced by yield signs and most traffic engineers would agree.

What do you guys think?

My husband was stopped and given a speeding ticket by the State Highway Patrol. The patrolman said he was doing 46 mph in a 25 mph zone. My husband told the patrolman there was no way he could have been doing 46 mph, as he was going over railroad tracks, on the main thorofare through town, however he admitted he was probably going over 25 mph. The patrolman said, "well, my detector doesn't lie", so of course my husband got stuck with the ticket. But I found it odd that he (the State HWY Patrol) is even allowed inside the city limits. Shouldn't that be designated to only the city Police? Hope someone can tell me if in fact the ST HWY PT are allowed there. Thanks in advance.

How many people in here are cops?I was looking at some of the answers given ,you think that if someone went to the time to ask a question here that they would like a answer, not to be called stupid or retarded or losers.I think cops should be banned from this section because they do not have a neutral postion on anything related to law inforcement, there attitude is guilty, guilty, and they dont give a ratsh*t if someone is innocent. One thing for sure if someone does ask a legitimate question and a cop knows the answer,do you think the cop is going to say ANYTHING bad about another cops behaviour, attitude,or if they will say,
That cop was wrong in what he did,he should be FIRED! who agrees?

I'm only 17 this is a long term goal. It seems like a way I can make a difference in something thats not political because I really dont want to be in the military because you end up fighting wars about politics and I simply have absolutly zero respect for the disgraces to the human race in washington or as they like to call themselves senators and congressmen. Anyways I was wondering would my martial arts expeiriance help me get a job as a cop. I don't have a highschool deploma but I do have a GED (I dropped out for decent reasons and I still went to BCC and plan to go to college). Thanks for the answers

I know they probably hear every excuse in the book, but you would think they work with people everyday, they would be able to discern from people who are honest and those who are not. I made an honest mistake and was pretty much crucified by an off duty policeman. I know they've probably heard every excuse in the book, but honest to God I was telling the truth and it hurt to be accused of doing something I did not do purposely. Quit your job if you're that angry and hateful my goodness.

I have a friend whose last name I don't remember- she never used it and was foreign lettering. Last I knew she was hanging out with some people who should have been in jail. I know which half of the state she would be in (if actually in prison) and what the general charges might be, but nothing more. Any chances of finding her?

Does anyone know what the laws are for carrying/owning swords in pembroke pines FL because I'm a martial artist and sometimes I can't get a ride home so I have to walk and pretty much have to hide my sword because I'm not sure if its illegal to have one or carry it on the street or if there is some sort of permit I need or something. Also if somebody could give me a link to a website that could answer the question it would be appriciated. A couple of my friends say that the cops would take it away but I really dont like to go with heresay
