Ever notice that not a single aspect of our emergency preparedness has improved since 9/11.

Where does the money go?

There was a report back in 2002 that said 80% of money donated to 9/11 victims through the Red Cross was used to update the Red Cross phone system. That's why I don't donate anymore, unless it's blood.

They also have said that America is still open for an attack on our soil. Now I thought that we were in Iraq to make sure something like 9/11 doesn't happen again.

I was watching the history channel around the anniversary of 9/11 last year. The contractors that designed the building warned the proper people that there was a threat of an aeriel attack. They did nothing. When that bomb went off in the parking garage in the early 90's the did nothing to protect it after that either.

I think that the government KNEW that there was an immediate threat to America and did nothing. They say war is good for the economy. I think GWB wanted to go to war and an attack on America was the only way to initiate it.

That's just what I think. All of the money that was approved by congress was used for war, not protection. I am voting Democrat this year.

Well I can tell you where some of it went. I live in a small town and we now have a K9 cruiser. The problem is that the police department does not have a dog.

Right on!! But you have to understand that people in govt. make their money by intentionally doing things inefficiently. Just the opposite of the way we (have to) do things. Sad, isn't it!?!? (Try to) have a nice day!?!
