There's nothing 'happy' about it at all, it's assault. Have you been a victim or known/seen anyone that has and where? Did the Police do anything?

With DNA technology the way it is, Should we bring back the death penalty back? Should the killings be public or private?
It costs about £15,000 per year to keep a prisoner, surely it would be make more sense just to kill 'em.

Okay dont get on me about this because it not nice. But i have a friend now who has been in prison for 8 years and the judge gave him two years but he says the people there,what ever there called will not let him out,He is in there for being with someone who was young,(teen) .I know its not fair..I told him he is stupid and i dont like what he did but he is a friend for 21 years, he knows now his mistake and learned from it..So my question is, why has he spent 8 years in prison as a SO when the judge only gave him to years? Is there something that he is not telling me?..He has always been honest with me,because otherwise he would not have been my friend.How much time can a person get for that crime???? I need to know this and the other question and i want only serious answers someone in law enforcement maybe

So far it seems that everyone responding is white, rich, ect. I'm not 100% sure of that but it seems that way since any questioning of the police status quo brings thumbs down and racist answers. Who is really out there?

Even though, I think that out of all the careers, those in
law enforcement know everything about relationships,
they are so often around what happens when one goes
wrong, that they are the best people to ask.......................

i know this occurs because I work and live in the Bronx, NY. If it's not that way where u are from great for you but it is here. it's only like this if you are non white here though. I don't understand the mentality of the police though, because when I reported a crime they blew me off, but my clients are stopped and searched for doing nothing. Convince me please, police officers.

My gf was robbed of her purse. Says she had my atm card which is I was letting her use in her purse along with the pin number which she never memorized. The thief withdrew 10,000 peso from my account.
A few days later, the police caught the thief, but he was part of a local gang that was dealing drugs, and a shootout ensued and he was killed.
I have asked her for a copy of the police report. She says she lost the report. I think she might have thrown it away once she found out the robber had been killed and was in fear of the gang he was involved in. So I had her return to the police station and retrieve a record of the report. She told me that since the robber was killed the records were transfered to the City Attorneys office. By now I am having a hard time believing this story!!
Does anyone with experience with the criminal justice system in Cebu be able to tell me if all this is plausible? Or is my gf taking me for a ride?
She had the card for a year and was always trustful

Sure, the deterent affect of seeing a black car with a big white stripe down the center with flashing red and blue lights on top is a nice one, but wouldn't police cars be more affective if they just looked like regular civilian cars? Imagine someone who's impatient while getting from Point A to Point B. He sees no cop cars around, and decides to push the medal a little harder to make better time. He's suddenly trailed by a normal-looking car, which then has the police lights popping out from the roof of the car from the inside. Caught in the act!

It's like prostitute stings. Woman officers don't masquerade as themselves and start laying the bait for soliciting sex, do they? No, they just look like regular hookers. Shouldn't it be the same for squad cars?

The caution was for a long time ago and was for possession of a class 'a' drug but i am unaware if this is held on record and if it is how long for.

A seller from Montana is selling this Sten MK II. I want to buy it. I just barely turned 21.I have a clean record and no felonies.This gun is full automatic and is a Class 3.The guy who is arranging for the transfer, a Class 3 dealer. Told me that the FBI can deny my request for this gun for whatever reason. I have a clean record, I just turned 21, and have a good conduct, what are my chances of being denied my right to own this amazing WWII relic? What reasons can the FBI use to deny me the ownership of a Sten MK II?

Hey all, I live in Portland, OR, and I just got my first speeding ticket on I-5 near woodburn. I am 20 years of age, and have had license for last two years. On the ticket, I have a court date set, and I plan on going too. Ok now the thing is that I was speeding. Going about 95mph, but I didn't see the cop's car till I got near (behind) the car, and then slowed down to 60 mph, and then he pulled me over because he "saw me speeding in his rear mirror." He gave me ticket of 150$, but when he flagged me, I was going 60. On the ticket he wrote 85mph, and next to it, there's a box that says, "laser, radar or pace" and he didn't check any of those. Do you think I should get away with it? What should my argument be? HELP!! I AM FREAKING OUT LIKE CRAZY!!

I can tell youre a good cop man. Thanks for the job you do. I dont buy that weed makes you lazy (I have been lazier and felt less motovated since I quit than i did when I smoked). I think is more likely that alot of lazy people smoke weed.
