If a cop doesn't have anything to charge a person with who said something they didn't like, then they seem to fall back on this charge, assuming he/she is actually drunk. But I don't really understand this law anyway, couldn't they just stand outside a bar and arrest almost everybody who walks out the door all night?

In 1995 to 96 somewhere there was a bank robbery in Van Nuys/North Hollywood. The bank robbers were covered in Kevlar and using automatic weapons. The police had to "borrow" some restricted automatic weapons from a local gun store. Why didn't the police supervisors have weapons that could match the bank robbers weapons? What exactly happened there?

The prison my brother is in called my mother today saying that they had some information about him. I'm just wondering if this is something that I should get upset about or if it's just something simple.

I got a call from an police officer and he was very tight lipped about why he was calling. Said I was not in trouble, and asked me if I recieved any weird packages. He would not say more. Should I help him or is my household under investigation? Want expert advice.

ok first just to let you know I HAVE NOT COMMITTED ANY CRIMES, I am just curious.

Seeing the mafia and other criminals are very wealthy and usually have friends ready to help them out.

should they serve that time? And not be up for parole.
It infuriates me that they get out on 'good behaviour'.
Should this apply.

I was pulled over, put in the rear of squad car in cuffs. AFTER searching my car (to be towed for expired tags) the officer has me clean out my vehicle. After thats finished he begins to read me my Miranda rights prior to my signing the paper in front of me while he spoke. I asked him if i was being arrested (since he was reading me my rights) then he replied "you already were arrested when I put you in the back of the car". So why was I not read my rights between that moment, the 20 minutes he searched my car and found "cannabis", the 15 minutes It took for me to collect my car's valuables, and the next moment when the ticket signing was due? If he clearly stated I was arrested 45-60 minutes prior, why did he not read my rights until the ABSOLUTE last moment? After I signed off he sent me on my way walking home. He also listed my SILVER/GREY trans am as "tan", listed me as Hispanic (im white) posted me as speeding without direction or device use, and misplaced the date and time of day

I recently purchased a new Hi-Point C9 (can use all ammo including +P+), yeah it's cheap but new. I've been looking around the net for a powerful round, but the strange thing is that the higher the grain the lower the velocity....Why? I would think that higher grain = high velocity....

Thanks

Last week a co-worker of mine had some not so nice visitors who just wanted to talk to her..Yeah right! My manager locked the doors and told them they can talk to my co-worker later. They got pissed walked and made a sharp right not going towards their car but the office parking lot. About two minutes later I see them go back to their car. I was curious so when I walked out they bolted. Walked by my car and my whole driver side and the top of my trunk was keyed down to the metal, another employee's car next to mine was keyed on the trunk. We know who did this and my co-worker whose drama this is acts like it is not her problem. I am very upset and I do not know what to do. Should I ask her for the deductible amount needed to get it fixed before it starts to rust or should I wait for the cops to try and get them which could take months who knows. I feel in a way this is ALL her fault and she should offer this and she should wait on the cops! HELP!!!

Would their fellow officers EVER stand up and speak of the EXCESSIVE FORCE? For example when a police officer breaks his hand on somebody's face, lies and arrests the person for FALSE charges( 104 Queens, NY) what is the chance that the other officers who pleaded for him to stop ever telling the truth of what actually happened?

I am curious about the "blue wall of silence" and how far it goes.
