Would their fellow officers EVER stand up and speak of the EXCESSIVE FORCE? For example when a police officer breaks his hand on somebody's face, lies and arrests the person for FALSE charges( 104 Queens, NY) what is the chance that the other officers who pleaded for him to stop ever telling the truth of what actually happened?

I am curious about the "blue wall of silence" and how far it goes.

The question was asked "how hard was the perps head..."

Answer...The "perp" had his nose and cheek bone broken. A gland busted. 12 staples in his skull. A severely bruised jaw and 1 eye is so badly swollen that it barely able to be used.

NYPD or Crips? They both wear blue so it is hard to gigure out who is who.

If a excessive force situation comes up it is protocall for the head of the department to order an investigation and notify the SBI. In my department the SBI investigates. There was a Police officer in a near by city that was charged with felony assalt a few months ago. He will definitly loose his certification and get probation. He may get some jail time.

Cops usually stick together and protect each other. Which can actually be a good thing too. It serves well out in the field knowing your partner and fellow cops will be there to back you up. But, if you rat out a fellow cop, they could just as easily say they are too far away to help.

The few that have live to regret it. Their careers are over the moment they break the silence.

There is a "cod of silence" among many officers, but with me, its just the word of my 4 legged land shark, and he does not know any better, than "resistance is futile"...
