this girl is 17 and her dad is beating her and has been for a while we live in alabama and i just wanted to know how much trouble she would get into if she just left and went to live with her aunt and uncle.

She should be able to go to them.
Only her father is the wild card.

She has legal and human rights in US. If brought to court can testify and choose aunt. Best to hide from family til 18 but go to school under aunt's name.

no she should get help from someone. i recently wrote a debate case on domestic violence and i found a piece of evidence that said leaving increases the chances of the victim's death by 50%
