Seeing the mafia and other criminals are very wealthy and usually have friends ready to help them out.

Ok, you are watching way toooooooo much TV and movies. I work with many law officials as I work for the feds and I would bet my life that 99.9% would not, I repeat WOULD NOT be easy to bribe and they would not take threats to lightly either. This is a real world and these a real people. For the most part they all are a great bunch of people.

sounds like you watch too much tv. bribing an officer is a crime, however since cops dont squeal on cops (dba the brotherhood) there are two words every officer never wants to hear: internal affairs.

That depends on which cartoons you are referring to. However, in the real world, I don't think you're going to see it happen too often.
