I got home to find police taking picture of my car without my consent . They told that my car was involve in a robbery and thye took my picture also . One office followed me inside my house and said he wanted to use my bathroom ( did not really used it but used the oppertunity to snooped aroung in my apt.)While another questioned me in my living room. They did not give me detail of the crime nor did they tell me I was a suspect. Were my right violated?

if u get pulled over by a cop, do u have the right to know why?
I just got pulled over by a cop and when I asked why, he said he just wanted to ask me some questions, then he closed my car door(window does not roll down) and left.
It was like he did not want to tell me why.

A few years ago I was attacked by a 16 year old girl. She pulled my hair and I did not hit her back. I was afraid I would go to jail. The cops broke us up neither one of us had injuries. I did not get arrested but the officer said he could arrest me even though I did not hit her. I'm getting ready to get a criminal background check. Is there any way they could have filed charges against me and I did not know it? Should I worry? I live in Kentucky. Would I not have been sent an arrest warrant or somehting it's been 5 years.

My dad was struck with a basketball to the side of his head inside the YMCA, was knocked over, glasses knocked off, and lost hearing due to the severity of the hit.
The kid that hit him was african-american, my dad is an old guy whose health isn't what it used to be. Couldn't this be assault? I told him he should report it to the police, but he doesn't like causing strife, and doesn't want to be seen as discriminatory since the kid who threw it was black. The accuraccy of the attack suggests it was intentional. What should he do?

I posted a question before about how to stop a dirty police officer and I did read all the answers but in the end you just can not stop one I have tried everything and it all comes down to who has the most credit cards and can get money off of them to pay the most to a lawyer. I have tried the senator, governor and in the end you just can not stop one. My daughter is the proof of that. Her life will never be the same and now after he stood in my face and told me he could kill her and the courts didn't do anything about it and she is still being ran off of the road beat, threatened, and her hair cut, and raped. The police is always on the police's side. You can not even make him drop the 3 million dollar insurance policy he has on her even after they are divorced and he stold the baby.So you know he is going to keep his word about her being dead.

This all started back in 2005, my husband took my fathers credit card and used $450 w/o his permission. We had moved to Oklahoma and he was arrested and we bonded him out and went down to NM and thought we had it taken care of. Last month he was arrested with a govonors warrant and he finally got picked up 2 days ago and is now back in NM. I am trying to get him bonded out. He already has a bond set but I want to make sure that he can come home and work until his court date. He hasnt had his arraignment hearing yet and so I cant find out what his actual court date will be. His paperwork is completely screwed up (according to gaurds and Lt.'s down there) I called to court to see if he was being arraigned today but they didnt have any paperwork on him. Can I bond him out and bring him home? and Can we set the court date?

I have watched many police videos, and have seen several cops almost overpowered by suspects and an officer attacked and shot dead with his own gun. Granted, cops have MACE/pepper spray, batons, handguns, blackjacks, etc. But they cannot just shoot a suspect if they are unarmed. The officers have to subdue them hand to hand.

After seeing many martial arts classes in kung fu san soo, Krav Maga, Gracie style and other fighting methods, they are more than capable of using holds, arm locks, etc. to disable attackers with guns knives and physical strength of an opponent. I saw a video of the late Master Jimmy Woo who was attcked full force by guys bigger and tougher than he was, but he put them all down. Why aren't cops capable of disabling a powerful suspect with a matial art technique? Why aren't they trained better to disable an aggressive attacker? Sometimes it takes 2-4 officers to handle a rough neck. Any cops care to comment? Be careful and watch yourselves from bad elements.
