I was in federal prison in Estill South Carolina back in '2000 with a guy named Johnny Gibson the feds raided his house in North Carolina looking for drugs but none were found. The feds found firearms legally registerd to him and charged him as a convicted felon in possesion of a firearm. But from his and my understanding he could legally own and possess those firearms pursuant to North Carolina law after completion of so many years probation/ parole. To my knowledge he is still serving ten years for doing what he thought was legal under the law of his state yet the feds convicted him. From what I have seen federal law does supercede state law because it's intent is to govern the states. If this is the case then why does so many states vary on issues and then send innocent or unknowing citizens to federal prison.Anyone interested in discussing this topic with me or the one regarding Bounty Hunter DOG CHATMan carrying mase please contact me via messeger at jsweat2007.

I want to puchase the above named weapon. I have been informed, however, that I would have to purchase a tax stamp that basically gives the government unlimited access to my home. Does anyone know about this area of law?

I have been to federal prison twice and when inmates are close to the end of their sentence they are mandated to take a class called pre release which the stipulations of our release due to our status a convicted felons is thourly explained. We have to sign an acknowledgment form. From what was explained to us a firearm is anything with a trigger mechanisim or protrudes. It can be a bb gun, flare gun, stun gun mase, or a sling shot. The reason I am asking is I messed up my life at a young age and now that I am older and drug free I would love an opportunity to be given to me like what was given to THE DOG. I was raised being taught all the right morals and ethics exept the drugs made me ignore what I was taught all my life. I always heard that it takes a criminal to catch a criminal. I have wanted to be a police officer since I was seven and knowing what I know now has to be a great plus. If The dog can do it on national tv why can't I? Is DOG within the means of federal law?

This is what I found Fifty-eight (58) dB(A) during nighttime hours. I have a dog and she barks when I am not home. I want to make sure I am not going to get fined or something for my dog barking. I was really looking for someone that can tell me what I can compare to 58 dB(A). I don't know what I will do with her if I get fined. When I am here she never barks.

In movies and stuff, police people open peoples cars and show them their badge and say "LAPD, i need your car!" and stuff like that. Can they really jack your transportation ride if they need it? Does it go against any laws? Just wondering.

My son decided to tell me today about abuse he recived at day care a little over 4 years ago. He was kicked in the nose by the sitter, but on the day I picked him up she told me that he had just had a little bloody nose that day. I didn't think much of it because it was winter and the air was dry.
I don't know why he didn't tell me about it back then, but I feel like something should be done. What if she's doing this to other children. My son had just turned 5 at the time, but she watches several children including infants.
How long after a crime can I file a police report? Is it too late
now?
Please give me some advise on how to handle this situation as I can't stand the thought of others getting hurt.
Would anyone take my sons word for it even??? He's a very honest young man and would never fabricate a story like that just to hurt someone. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

I have this question because I want to become a law enforcement officer, but I got 1 felony charge and don't know if I can become one, right now I am in the u.s army, and after that I will go to college to study the law and justice. This will be easy for me because it is already written, if anyone seen or heard a convicted person working for the government let me know. THANKS

About 6yrs ago my ex's dad gave us his computer (he also gave one to my ex's sis). A year and a half ago we split up and I moved out. The ex said i could have it as he had no use for it. Now he says his dad's asking for it back and that he only gave us a loan of it and he's threatening legal action. What should I do?

Several times a cashier has missed a security tag when scanning my shopping through at the supermarket. The bleeper then goes off at the exit and the security person has asked me to return inside whilst they find and deactivate the tag. This is very annoying and inconvenient - I feel like I am being accused of stealing something. It is their fault that they've left a tag on. What would happen if I refused to return to the store whilst they went through all my shopping?

One of Arlington Heights finest was subsequently investigated for 'inappropriately' touching a young woman. Any and all information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

My boyfriend got arrested for possession with intent to sell marijuana 2 days ago, and they also impounded his car. I was wondering if there are ways where I could help him get his car out from the impound? Because he is currently being held in LA County Jail right now, and the car is only under his name. Thanks in advance :)
