I would do it even though I DON"T work for the Secret Service. I would consider it my duty.

It comes with the job. It's kinda like that young woman who joined the Army and bitched and moaned to get into a Special Forces unit. When the unit was going to be deployed to Iraq,she tried to sue the Army because she didn't want to go. She thought she'd get to spend her entire career stateside.
The Secret Service can be a very demanding job and it takes the right mentality to get into that type of work. YOU will be somebody's shield-not just the President's.

yes. its the job of the secret service to protect the president at all costs. even if your life is the one to get lost. if you take a bullet for the president youll end up being famous too.

That is part of the job you must be willing to accept before joining the SS.
