We were at Applebee's, and he is only 20 years old and he put Vodka in his drink, and someone called the cops who arrested him. I was hoping that someone could help me find out how serious this felony is, so i know if he's looking at a big fine and/or jail time. Here's the specifics: He's underage, he was in possession of vodka, and he drank it in public.

Thanx.

believe it or not what i'm about to tell is a TRUE story.

when i just came to america i was about 10. my dad and his friend were waiting in line for a job employment thing. my dad spoke a little english and his friend didn't speak english at the time. a cop came up to them and told my friends dad to see some ID. the friend didn't show any ID and my dad said he didn't speak english. the cop just laughed and took out nightstick and poked him in the chest a few times with it and forcfully he pushed him with the nightstick and one time in the face poking. my friends dad has short temper so he punched out the cop. a few cops were there at the time and beat my friends dad with nightsticks. was that police brutality? and did my friends dad do the right thing?

My boyfriend was arrested in Albuquerque, NM for drug possession (methamphetamine) during the execution of an arrest warrant stemming from traffic violations which had already been paid. Does this count as illegal search and seizure since the warrant was invalid?

IS IT REALLY OK 4 THE POLICE 2 PULL U OVER IF U R BLACK AND N A RICH HOOD, AND U DONT SEEM 2 B FROM AROUND THERE.? AND IS OK WHEN THEY LET U GO AFTER THEY FIND OUT U R CLEAN, AND MAYBE HAVE A FRIND OR FAMILY WHO LIVES IN THE AREA. OR MAYBE THE BLACK PERSON HAS MONEY 2 BUY A HOUSE IN THAT HOOD BUT DONT WEAR A SUIT AND TIE, DOES THAT MAKE HIM A GANGMEMBER, OR DRUG DEALER AUTOMATICALLY? Y R WE PRESUMED WRONG INSTANTLY, UNTIL WE PROVE OTHERWISE?

I want to become a Cop. However...I want to know how much the job pays. I want to be able to support myself and a family. I dont want to "just barley get by", but I dont want to be rich either. I want to make pretty good money where I can support a family, and have a pretty nice house. IS THIS POSSIBLE BEING A COP?

what if you are the victim of a crime, how ever for some reason (the cost of prosocution) the person charged is charged with a significantly lesser offense. Does the victim have any course of action if the eyewitness reports and statement by police on the police report indicate a larger infraction? this occurred in Ohio if that makes any difference.

A complete list would be ideal. I'm working on a screenplay and need this information to develop dialogue for one of my characters, an Internet junkie and part-time dealer.

For example, an incomplete but accurate list would be: cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana.

I'm looking for a complete *and* accurate list. Law enforcement personal are particularly encouraged to respond.

For any of you out there who are either emergency or 9-1-1 dispatchers (as I am), have you ever been able to get anyone to attempt CPR when there is a cardiac emergency call? We are quite frustrated at my comm center because everytime we get one of these calls and tell someone we are going to tell them how to do CPR, they always refuse! If your husband/wife/child were dying in front of you, wouldn't YOU attempt it? Some thoughts, please.
