AND IS OK WHEN THEY LET U GO AFTER THEY FIND OUT U R CLEAN, AND MAYBE HAVE A FRIND OR FAMILY WHO LIVES IN THE AREA. OR MAYBE THE BLACK PERSON HAS MONEY 2 BUY A HOUSE IN THAT HOOD BUT DONT WEAR A SUIT AND TIE, DOES THAT MAKE HIM A GANGMEMBER, OR DRUG DEALER AUTOMATICALLY? Y R WE PRESUMED WRONG INSTANTLY, UNTIL WE PROVE OTHERWISE?

From me, a White Man, to you my African American Brother,
I DO SO APPOLOGIZE FOR THE IGNORANCE OF SOME OF THE WHITE RACE!!!!!. You would think, in now, the year 2007 Racial Profiling would be a far and distant thing of the past but, I find myself on occasion being embarased by some of the things that still go on in this Country. Please except my Sincerest and Kind Appologies to you.

GOD BLESS

omg.....get over the race deal for a change...they had probable cause to stop you just like if you had been white.
"maybe" you had someone lived there? yeah
"maybe" you had money to buy a house there" in those neighborhoods they have real estate agents that will be glad to set you an appt to see houses that are for sale if you do.
You were clean so whats the big deal? there may have been a lot of sightings....or illegal things going on in the neighborhood lately and they were checking everyone out not known in the area...in my area its called Neighborhood Watch Area.

This is a really stupid question.
RODNEY KING happens every day, only there is no one rolling the cameras.
Of course it is not okay but yes it does happen.
What can be done about it, NOT MUCH! DOes it suck, of course but if they pull you over for being black do you really think that they will then admit that is why they did it?
Racisim is alive and well in america and often times sports a blue uniform a badge and a gun.
NO suggestions here , just stating that if you really are a black man this should be nothing new as far as a concept.

well the cop really cant tell what race you are until the car is stopped... unless he's right next to you... or your bald... maybe you were driving slow and he thought you scouting and thought it looked suspicious... thats what happend to my 80 year old grandma and that was one of the times she wasnt driving like a crazy old person. its always the race card when people get pulled over by a white guy.... i bet you wouldnt even be posting this is a black dude pulled you over for the same reason...

Perhaps certain black people would be given more respect from the law if they took the time to get an education and stop acting like their favorite thug flavor-of-the-month.

Whose side are you on?? Yea, maybe cops profile, and no they should not, but if thugs continue to dress and look and ack like thugs, then maybe their thugs. You do the math.
