actually we need more information to GUESS...
my guess would be based on a few things:
what were the terms of your probation> in some places, being arrested means automatic jail time....are you on probation for a felony?
what was the value of the property (which would determine if it is going to be a felony or not)
are you going to plead guilty or is there going to be a trial...
Are there codendenants, if so do they have records (going for the 'maybe they talked you into it angle here')
Do you have a job (meaning are you likely to be able to be a decent contributing member of society if you are given a break and can you pay the fines if you were given same in lieu of jail time)
Did it appear that you knew the item was stolen
(for example if you got the stolen item for xmas as opposed to driving around in a car with a busted steering column.)
Whatever the answers are to the questions abouve. Try to look as nice as you can when you go to court, meaning dont wear blue jeans, tennis shoes etc.
Yes sir and no sir or yes your honor no your honor are your answers, none of that HUH, yeah crap.

GOOD LUCK!

Not nearly enough! You are proof that their sentences are not strong enough to change your ways!
