For the same reason they can live across the street from an elementary school, or a park. The ACLU and the Liberals of America, feel the registered sex offenders have a right to live the way they want to live, where they want to live and registering them is even an invasion of their privacy.
I wonder how these sick people will feel when their 3 year old is raped or kidnapped and murdered.

I think the most important thing for a convicted sex offender to have would be conditions that he not go near schools, parks etc.. and that he not be alone with anyone under the age of 18. He should also have to report to local police whenever he is staying for extended periods of time anywhere. Some sex offenders in Canada have these kind of conditions (they also have to come provide DNA and come in for photos every once in a while). I don't think it is a good idea to deprive anyone from earning a living, because it keeps us from supporting them, but I agree with you it is scary having them moving from place to place like that.

sometimes there are cops that go and check up on sex offenders. depending on the level they are. but its like saying how come anybody can cross state lines.... aslong as they arent going over the border to run away from the law it should be fine... oh and by the way. during the holiday season... dont take your kid to see santa if you are really worried... some of them are level I or level II sex offenders.

I feel ya man, I'm still trying to figure out how a person convicted of child molestation 4 different times managed to land a job at the local fairgrounds in the county I live in(now there is a job that keeps him far from children) You should make it known to as many people as possible about the job this guy is doing. Trust me I've contacted local news about the guy at the fairgrounds and it's not always easy getting them to print stuff but between that and telling all my friends and family hopefully that pervert no longer works at the fairgrounds come fair time this year. I still think they should just castrate the sick bastards.

If this person really is a CONVICTED CHILD MOLESTER which is a FELONY there is no way he would have a CDL license to begin with. You cannot get your CDL's if you have a FELONY Charged crime

He is entitled to work, but since he is out (they should all stay in for life), then his truck should have a sign on it warning motorist of the kind of predator he is and to report any suspicious activity. Or just brand his forehead. And put a GPS tracking unit permenantly on him. I don't care about any of them, and a sex offender "cannot" be rehabilitated.

until you've checked every bit of information you can't make that pronouncement. how do you even know anything? the laws related to child sex are so obtuse that you could read anything into it you wanted. so why don't you mind your your own business you slag. your probably trash anyways and shouldn't be breeding.
