Why do airport security search old women?

At every airport security checkpoint screeners are consistently searching older white women. What is it they expect to find?

Two words - POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. We all know what terrorists usually look like and who they usually are. There's a reason the term "usual suspect" came about. Political correctness probably kills more people than the actual terrorists do. This is sick. (Oh, and it really isn't the security guards' fault -- although, if someone takes a job and performs that job regardless of how ridiculous its procedures may be, then they are still responsible for their actions. I know I know, it's hard to find a job these days. It was hard to find jobs in 1930s Germany outside of the military, too, but we still hold the people who performed Hitler's orders responsible.)

They search everyone at airports now adays with this terroist panic happening in other countries once every or twice every month. It's a pain in the *** but it's just to protect everyone. Hey imagine you had your own country and terroist kept slipping in what would you do, let them go free and not worry about anyone else who steps in. I would very much especially after what happened 5 years ago.

Grandmas in Russia are known for selling drugs, to make ends meet , so what makes you think older white women[if they are women?]are less risk? There are lots of men outthere dressed like women. Also need to watch out for the gender changes a man born male never forgets his roots.

Granny Ninjas, with those canes and walkers, those little old ladies can do some damage, and think of the flying flase teeth, they can take an eye out. Not to mention, what could be hiding under their wigs????

Asked a TSA officer this same question recently after
I observed an 80 pound wheel-chaired grandma getting the full-physical.

He told me they do the full physical search for the
following reasons....

- paid cash for the ticket.
- bought one way ticket - no return flight.
- have carry on luggage only.
- name is flagged because it is the same or similar to
a flagged terrorist.
- something 'suspicious' in the purchase of the ticket.
- they pissed someone off at the ticket counter and they
mark their ticket for a full-physical search.
