my boyfriend and i got in a little fight,he hit me, he was arrested. we're still waiting to go to court, but if he does,he's looking at a 3 year suspended sentence. I didn't know the effect of giving a statement until it was to late, I just want to take it back, so what do you think my charges will be.

honestly, them mormon bible pushers are worse than hell,
don't you wish you could just shoot them?

(i have nothing against mormons, as long as they stay off my property! they come by every 3-4 days in this neiborhood thinking it will help prevent crime if every one just converted)

i've asked them plenty of times to stop coming here, politely and they just don't seem to get it. i even put up no tresspassin' signs and better yet, islamic extremist logo's on my garage door.

when one tried to jam his foot in the door i just slamed it and he called the cops (broken toes) but quite a few of the cops are mormons too. so obviously, their not doing anything, what can i do?

can i just shoot them (or at them) ?

if not, what do you suggest?

How would you pass this law: Anyone at retirement age til death should take a yearly drivers test to be sure you are able to be out on the road without any disabilities? Such as partial blindness.

I'm a cook at a restaraunt and recently $70 dollars came up missing.
the owner was going to make everyone put in to pay it back like 6 dollars each, well the next day another $70 dollars came up missing. isnt it illegal to take money out of someones paycheck if he doesnt have your permission? the cooks do not even have access to the registers. he has cameras in the store but they havent been working forever and he has just never fixed them. Wouldnt it be illegal for him to take money out of everyones paycheck without their consent?>

..when I go to court in a few days, I give the judge some character references from some community members about me? Like I volunteered twice in the Gulf coast region helping with hurricane disaster relief. To me, that attests to the type of person I am, yet if justice is blind, should the judge give me a different sentence than say someone who spends all their time watching tv?

I am being charged with reckless burning. I was camping in a backcountry area, and was positive I'd put out the small fire I'd made to burn some papers. But after I left there was a fire in that area, so I figured it was from my fire, and I immediately turned myself into park office. The fire investigators have publicly stated I made a good effort to put it out, and that it was an accident.

Im really unsure of what i am being charged with.. on my ticket/paper it says TO WIT: subject was inotxicated and possessed a bottle containing liquor. THUS Committing: Underage Possession. Because my student legal services cant take m case, i have no other means of legal advice. My court date is in 2 weeks and i am going to college as of now. I have no clue how the system will work or what to plead. I cant afford a lwyer so i basically have to go out on my own on this one. If anyone has any ideas for what i should do i would greatly appreciate it.

By "police department" I mean a fully operational police department with sworn police officers, NOT just security guards. I am aware of only one such university campus. Do you know of any others. Please post links, if so.

He came to my neighborhood and sat in his car and yelled at the top of his lungs to the public that I was a crook and that I cheated him with the air conditioning work I done. This was done in front of my kids and their friends. I heard it and came out of the house and told him to move on or I would call the police and file harrassment charges. This kind of thing has been going on for over 1 year. After that he left and sent me a notarized letter telling me that I can't be anywhere that he and his wife is, including school functions, sporting functions, etc.

I'm from the UK and I understand NOTHING about the American legal system. A friend who I used to talk to has been accused of serious crimes and at first she maintained she was innocent. She has since been arrested and remanded to custody in Riverside, CA. She has sinced changed her plea to guilty. It is (as far as I am aware) her first non-traffic offence. The charges are nasty and read as follows:

Count Charge Severity Description Violation Date Plea

1 PC 288A(B)(1) F Oral Cop/Under 18 years 07/09/2005 GUILTY
2 PC 288A(B)(1) F Oral Cop/Under 18 years 07/09/2005 GUILTY
3 PC 288A(B)(1) F Oral Cop/Under 18 years 07/09/2005 GUILTY
4 PC 288A(B)(1) F Oral Cop/Under 18 years 07/09/2005 GUILTY
5 PC 261.5(C) F Unlawful Intercourse W/Minor >3 Yrs Younger 07/09/2005 GUILTY

Obviously these are very serious charges and I have since re-considered my friendship with her - however we don't know the full story.
Any ideas on a likely sentence?
