I have a 4 month old baby boy. I was 17 when I had gotten pregnant an the father was 29.The father also has a criminal record an does drugs all the time taking off for 3 to four days at a time.never comming to see our son.We use to love each other but then things turned sour an hes been threatening to take me to court even thought hes the one who wont come to see our child...Could he get custody if he went to court seeing as how he got me pregnant when i was only 17,has a criminal record,and him an everyone at his mothers house where he stays does drugs?

Okay it was over the Thanksgiving break when i went up to my cousins Place to drink. NOw , I had a few drinks over his place and went over his buddies place to drink some more. Now here is where it happens, We get back to the apartment And I find that I left my phone somewhere...
So i automatically Im halfway drunk but halfway concious of where i am , I do something really stupid ...and I got outside to look in my car for the phone..but unfornately with my key wouldn't work,

Suddenly out of no where the cops come and Automaticallly accuse me of trying to steal a car..But really ...it was my car....


But while they were talking to me .My cousins girlfriend comes and says' that she is responsible for me..
My question is They didn't give me a breathlizer but they claimed that I was drunk..So my thoughts are they have no proof......Of me being drunk ..>I got my citation from the cop about a week ago in the MAIL because they mailed me it.
i was basically charged with an underage. in PA

How do I go about getting money owed from my past employer? I worked 50+ hours a week and didnt recieve overtime. She told me that she was exempt from paying overtime! Come to find out she is not and a girl I worked with filed and now the old empolyer has to pay her all the money she owes. How do I go about claiming mine. Its not so much the money for me but the satisfaction is knowing that she wont get away with screwing with all the people that have worked for her and all the people who work for her now. She has a deadline that she has to repay the girl who filed against her, Jan 7, 2007! Does the IRS investigate all past employees and current employees to she what she owes..Does anyone know how this works and where I need to start? Please help. Thank you

My landlord[slum] is preventing me from dealing with my term.ill mom who is in th ICU.they put return 2 sender on all her mail,eg,taxes,med bills,dividend chex etc.what do i do? they illegally moved her stuff out recently w/out telling me, kept her mail, gave it up now instead of putting it in my slot they return it. its so unGodly &i am frustrated. I need help, advice, I'm alone too-only other relative wants her money. can someone advise me please? i am at my wit's end.

I am trying to get a realistic idea of what a burn on my face is worth. I have filed a claim with the nail spa's insurance carrier and am still waiting.. will not hold my breath. I do not really want to get a lawyer but might have to if they do not contact me. The burn was 1st degree almost 2nd because of blistering. This happened on 11/2 and is now healed but I have a jagged line and discoloration around it along with it feels a little different than the rest of my skin. This was caused by a nail salon burning me with the waxing they did and then putting rubbing alchol on it. thanks

I was arrested in my neighborhood when I was 19 for "breaking and entering" and "resisting arrest". Anyways I was found not guilty. Does this arrest still show up on my record? Ive also been ticketed with possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol but I did community service to get them “dismissed”. What does dismissed mean and do I have to disclose this info on a job application?

i m writing here my case related with land property in ( Maharashtra) India ,

my grandfather is having the agricultural land whcih is of their forefather
and my grandfather have 3 son and 3 daughters

wat recently is communicated to my father who eldest among them
that the land is already sold and pls accept or take yur part of money

now my question is
1) if land is already sold, then wat i or my father can do to save that land from being sold
as it is of my forefather
i am not interested in selling it
and if even all are agree on this
then is there any provision that first buyer should always me or my father before selling to 3rd party?
or else is ther any way to get stay on this dealing

2) if it is not sold till date
then wat are the ways to avoid to get them sold to 3rd party directly without my intimation
or else they first should ask me or my father for buying option.

anyone wacthing cnn tonight see the big story about the CIA using waterboarding as a form of torture? I am an X marine and it is my opion that this is not torture. i can see how people woud be bothered by it..its not eaclty a nice thing to do....on Cnn they talked about how they used waterboarding on one of the key al queda guys, and it only took 38 secounds for him to give up valueable info... so lets look at waterboarding...a bunch of water is pourded down your throat to make you THINK you are drowning...so no real physical damage...no real pain...no disfigurement...its not like we are cutting peoples heads off...or sticking needles under fingernails....i am sorry i guess i just dont have much compassion ...i mean American lives were saved b/c a terroist was scared into talking? i mean 38 secounds of fear is all it was...and if american lives can be saved by scarying the hell out of bad guys so be it....i just cant see it as torture b/c there is no physical damage or mental damage...

Actually I have read the web pages of law firms and confirmed that the law firms I send my enquiry to all accept legal aid. But I get no reply for my enquiries.

I think lawyers can still make money from people who seek for legal aid, particularly when they are required to pay for something not completely covered by it. Am I wrong?

I want to sue my biological father for a paternity test.
I want to join an Indian tribe so that they can pay for me to go to school, but I can't until I prove that I am (American) Indian. I'm 20, so I'm pretty sure I can't go for back-child support, but I don't want his money anyway.

Is there a way to accoplish this without having to hire an attorney, because I really can't afford it?

I didn't drive. They gave me a rental car and sent my car to somewhere to fix my car. That's it. They are not paying any side money or they didn't even gave me free oil change or something. Is this right?
I'm worried about my car value now because of the accident.
