I was arrested in my neighborhood when I was 19 for "breaking and entering" and "resisting arrest". Anyways I was found not guilty. Does this arrest still show up on my record? Ive also been ticketed with possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol but I did community service to get them “dismissed”. What does dismissed mean and do I have to disclose this info on a job application?

Depends on what the application asks. IF it asks if you have been arrested, it's a yes. If it asks if you've been convicted, yes for the possession. Answer it honestly.

in any felony you should always ' show ' your hand ( just in case it comes back to bite you ) .
if you have not been ' convicted ' of a crime you would not have a problem --- and in your situation that seems to be above board .
but i do seriously believe that you need to be honest with your future employers for --- your own peace of mind .
let me put it to you in another context
you get a job working for X --- Y ( the personnel department ) needs to scrutinse the applicants credenntials ( in which case you are Z )
okay Y sees a problem in the job application ( might be a tick here a mistake in spelling there etc )
if z hasn't told the truth in an application form for a job working with x --- you can see where it is all going to head .
if z tells the truth from the outset ( regardless of the conviction scenario ) that would surely endear any perspective employer to put you on . good luck .

the arrest WILL show up on your record, but you were found not guilty....see if your area has court records online and check to see how this case appears...it might be best to include it on a job application just so they know from the get go that you were found 'not guilty'....it would look better for you to disclose this yourself first before they look up your criminal history online....

re: the possessions it will show up if it was not 'expunged' from your record....check your records online or at the court house....if it shows up even as 'dismissed', again it is always best to be upfront and tell your employer this first before they find it....tell them you were a little "wild" in your youth, most people should understand that and can relate!!!

good luck!

You still have an arrest record, although you have not been convicted. Your rap sheet is permanent.
