Someone gave this person a pornographic picture anonymously in the workplace. They, with a friend, went to several people at work and showed them the picture asking them if they did it. This one person was highly upset and reported them to HR. Can the company be sued?

A couple months back i was in a car accident. Rear ended. I had never been in an accident before so all of this was/is very new to me. I went with the first lawyer that I spoke with. That may or may not have been a mistake. My attorney is telling me that I may not see any $$ from the accident. I was transported to the hospital after...and saw a chiropractor whom he recommended, for a month and a half. While going to these apps. one of the doctors had said some innappropriate things. I did report it to the owner of the practice. I will tell you I was surprised that he knew this doc. was being this way. By the way, my bill to them is over 2g's.
Now that my case is closing...I am being made to feel as if i should be grateful for their svcs. My lawyer stated he had to convince the adjuster to settle..(wasnt my fault) and that after the fees to him and the dctr...I may not have anything to come home with. The other parties insurance co. totaled out my car. Is this how it goes?

I was just involved in a car accident and the vehicle towing company charged me $175 for towing the vehicle, $100 for cleaning up the mess (barely any mess), and $25 per day for having it in their lot.

Is it legal for them to charge $25 every day? I have no money and I need my car back.

We and my husband got in a fight, and we ended up in jail for 1 day. The judge gave us only PTR, not any bail, and we agreed to not fight again. We want the charges to be dropped, bcz if they arent droped, my husband will be discualified for his current job (i dont work), and we wont have money to pay for my leukemia treatment. How this can be done?

When you decide your signature for your driver license or bank account, does it have to consist of "letters?" Or other than just letters, is it okay to use codes, numbers, or even symbols as your signature?

In other words, can your signature be ANYTHING? Even just a circle, if you want??

People are just leery. It's more of a gut feeling than anything else, but I'm not sure where to turn for answers. Suggestions? I don't want to cause static in the church more than is already there by "asking around" until I have some facts to present. If there are, in fact, facts TO present.....

At our school we are having a mock trial and Friar Lawrence is going to be the defendant. I am personally being forced to be John. Anyway.. she is saying that Lawrence can be blamed for assisted suicide for Rome and Juliet. She says that he could not marry the children without permission because apparently back in the 1300s(I think?) children... especially women were considered property of their fathers so they need permission to marry someone. She also says that the Friar should have reported when Romeo and Juliet at one point both threatened the Friar with killing themselves... she says it wasn't technically a confession so the Friar should have reported them to the families.. although when Juliet threatened to kill herself she indeed did say she was going to confession to get forgiveness for her sins(having the fight with her father). My teacher is basically saying the Friar did everything wrong. He should never have given Juliet the potion and shouldn't have come up with that whole

Prosecution offered a terrible plea bargain.... half off the fine but charge still remains and full points. Charge is for new Stunt Driving but husband was doing 51 over in an 80 downhill. Stupid move, but it will financially devastate my family, has already cost thousands... and he may lose his job if the charge isn't reduced... He has an otherwise perfect record.

I have an extremely complicated question regarding Wills.
Try to break it down to brief nutshell:
My mother is insane and on Social Security Disability.
She recently became a ward of the state when her mother who had overseen her bill payment became incapacitated.
She and I havent talked directly in 11 years because she had a psychotic break and tried to kill me and I fled home.
I stayed in touch with her mother/my grandmother.
I have tried to work off and on but have suffered from PTSD.
Ive tried hard to keep wroking as much as possible though.
I moved back to my hometown earlier this year to be close to my Grandmother who got injured.
Her health took turn for worse. She always discussed everything with me.... from how she wanted to be cremated to exactly what her will stated.
She told me that her lawyer had been instructed to 'take care of me' with proceeeds from her will.
Sadly she trusted this lawyer to much.
Sh ewrote me checks at various times over last 10 years.

I truly am interested in both sides, and I know we can't group all private-insurance as being corrupt. But Moore, raises a good point:

"How Can for-profit companies, truly have the patients-best interest at heart, when patients are in dire-need to cash in their policies?"

maybe, socialized-medicine, isn't the anti-christ, americans have been indoctrinated to believe....(oops, guess, I revealed a touch of bias)..

Game On!

What I'm trying to say that a lot of people say it's the woman's choice whether or not to keep the baby, and the government should mind their own business. But don't you think that the father should at least have a say in this since this is equally his kid? Food for thought: What if the father wanted to keep the baby and the mother didn't. If you had to be the judge, who would you side with? Do you think that in order to get an abortion the father and mother would have to sign to go through with this procedure???

1. We are having a mock trial for it at school blaming Friar John for the assisted suicide of Juliet and her Romeo... I personally have a belief he's innocent. One is that I don't even think it's assisted suicide... wouldn't it be if he gave Romeo the poison and Juliet the gun? He didn't though... But anyway... how can one acquit him?

2. When Juilet stabs herself is that actually a fast and easy way to die? I'm just wondering because she goes down pretty quick. Shhe does it right between her bellybutton and her... I think it's the groin right?

The cops said they questioned the two kids but could not find anything , I drove my car out to find them and saw them standing in the middle of the road. I live in a ghetto kind of area and these two ghetto looking kids whipped out a gun that looked like a 9 but was a bb gun.

My sister goes to a university.there is no more to the story. She was accused of cheating on an essay and her teacher gave her an f and i tried to be helpful and explain to the teacher i watched her write it,but the teacher became very nasty with me so i became nasty back.Ok maybe i shouldnt have tried to talk to the teacher but i was only trying to help! They want to kick her out of the university now because of me.She had no control over me she asked me not to go in but i walked in anyways. They shouldnt punish her for my actions. She was accused of cheating by allowing her friend to email her assignment for her because she didnt have access to email and he did. That is the truth!!! no actions were taken on him except the f and he was allowed to stay but she will get kicked out.I think there is a lawsuit brewing here.

My fiance has been in jail since tuesday for a probation violation. He was originally on probation because he got charged w/ poss. of heroin (although all he had was syringes and razor and a glass) and he got probation and he had to take classes, community service and pay fines. He finished his classes and community service, and has paid some of his fines. He took a drug test through a doctor last week who told him he tested positive for MJ and Coke, and when he went to see his PO he told her the truth, and she arrested him. Now, what I want to know is if the judge is going to hold him or release him tomorrow. This is his first violation, he does not have anything else on his record, and he wrote a letter to the judge explaining that he wont do it again, and how 4 days in jail has taught him a lesson and he has a job he needs to keep in order to provide for us. His PO is also filling out a form saying that he told the truth. Do you think that the judge will hold him until the hearing?
