Okay. There is a particular employee, the employee does a fantastic job. Yet, this person speaks very limited English. There has been several opportunities that they have been passed up on due to this. Personally, I do not hire people that do not have a functioning knowlege of the English Language. This person was hired when I was in LOA. The frustrating part is that I have to often page one of the translators to speak with this person.. The translators are for customers and NOT employees. I am very versed on laws concerning civil rights and most acts that apply to employment. Legally, I am not wrong. Yet, I am wondering how people that work under me may view this. Especially the Hispanic community. I know that as the "boss" everyone is not going to love me. Respect is what I want from my employees.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse, they say. Yet so few of our students know much about law except what they see on tv. I'm submitting a proposal to the local schools in my area asking that they consider teaching law starting in the fifth grade.
Do you think lawyers will feel threatened by this endeavor?

With all the evidence out there of wrong doing in the 9/11
horror, why is there no serious questions being asked by
the people in power.
Not everyone could of been bought off, could they?
Are they really going to get away with it?

The person resides in Wisconsin. Every state might be different.
A friend of mine gets child support from this guy and hasn't heard from him for about a week. She thinks he went to Florida to visit friends over the holidays, but part of her thinks he's trying to escape permanently (like he's done in the past)?

I get a break for 15 minutes at eleven, and another one in the afternoon. Nevertheless, I would work 6 hours after my lunch break and feel absolutely tired and energy deprived. My friends tell me that there is a law that entitles people to take their 1 hour break after half the working period i.e. if I work from 9 till 7, that are 10 hours, I am entiteled to take my lunch/rest break at 2 o'clock instead of 12 pm?
I am a sales assistant and work in a stressful, busy environment. Last time when I started at 10.30 and worked till 6. I only got a half a hour break at 1 pm, leaving me absolutely exhausted when my shift was finished. my manager doesn't listen and I would appreciate if anybody knows whether there is law that gives me the right to take my break after half of my working time.

If a crime boss ordered the killing because the victim was his enemy, he will be tried for murder even though he did not actually pull the trigger. Why can't the same rules applied for politicians?

I guess Johnny Sutton has a drug habit because he apparently loves illegal dirty drug smugglers better than he does honest, good LEGAL American border patrol guards.

Years ago my friend said a woman is allowed to shoot someone in their foot as to not kill them but stopping them if they were raping or attacking her somehow

I don't think I have the heart to shoot someone I would most likely resort to pepper spray for protection, but is this true?

Would a woman or anyone in general go to jail for this?

Why is it that when we find someone here in the county that is illegal we don't send them back to their country? And if they get sent back why don't they stay there? How is it that they keep crossing the border and coming back? Don't you think we pay our border patrol enough to keep things under control?

I have heard from different people, politicians as well, that because a "fetus" is not a human life abortion is ok. But at the same time if a pregant woman is killed, it is a double murder. Murder can only apply to human beings. Any thoughts on this discrepancy?
