I have heard news reports that the crime in Mr. Horn's neighborhood has fallen like a lead balloon. Should I say more?

I live in Houston,TX and we had a discussion on the subject in my Sociology class......Most people in my class and even my professor feel the same way........If they were not trying to break into someones house (which is illegal) and steal someone else property then they would still be alive.

This should be a lesson to ALL criminals if you want to live a life of crime, then you have to be prepared for the consequences.

Under Texas law, as I understand it, If you break into a home, you can EXPECT to be met with deadly force. The person exercising that force is PRESUMED to be justified. Joe Horn, according to the reports I heard, confronted 2 men breaking into his neighbors house. A house he had be ASKED to watch. When he ORDERED them not to move, they CHARGED him. He then shot them, arguably in self defense. The fact they were illegal aliens is not relevant and was not know until later.

they were not primarily illegals, he could not have known that at the time so dont try to make this an illegal alien issue.
it seems a little extreme to me, but they must be having quite a problem in texas to have made such a thing legal, but they have every right to do so.
he is certainly not a my threat to me or anyone i know.

Joe Horn is an American hero. We should send him more bullets. I have a 10mm Glock in my pocket now, but thanks to Mr. Horn, I have 2 fewer targets...

Serves them right. I only wish I had the guts to do the same thing to those losers. And for the wussy who said he was a cold blooded murderer, you're just a wb lover.

Depends on the situation. If they were trying to break into his property then good.

I read the complete police dispatch report online.

Joe Horn is a cold-blooded murderer.

He had no cause to kill those people.

He's a typical gun-happy nut---he was ITCHING to shoot someone.

Yeah, great neighbor, until he blows your kid away in the dark.

And go stuff your thumbs down. Didn't your parents or your church teach you about MURDER?

PS: Your "HERO" shot both men in the BACK. I hope the Grand Jury does indite him. He has already received death threats from his community, sad to say. I hope he is ostracized by decent people.

PPS: The texas "castle law" does not apply to neighbor's property, only your own. What Mr. Horn did is NOT legal in Texas.

He shot and killed two criminals after warning them not to move, these two criminals also happened to be illegal aliens.
I think he should be rewarded for his vigilance.
