I find it ironic that the first two answerers have something in common. The first has an avatar of the beagle, and the second is a top contributor in dogs. It is funny to me.

As to the person asking the question. Are they suing you? Trying to sue you would mean you have not been served. It would be interesting what they say you allegedly did. Check with you state wage and hour division as to the pay issue.

Are you the same guy that was here yesterday complaining that you took out a nearly 3k dollar pay advance from your boss then quit and now he wants his money back?

If so, you owe them that money. Stop trying to get something for nothing and earn what you keep. You'll feel better about yourself. I promise.

In they are trying to sue you, then just file a counterclaim for what they owe you and wait for them to take you to court.

Otherwise, contact the state labor department and have them help you get your full paycheck.

If you claim is less than $5000, you can take it to small claims court, and represent yourself.
