Seriously the man was killing pitt bulls. Yeah it was breaking the law, but come on 23 months! There are drug dealers and aggravated assault felons with extensive records that don't see that much time! Just goes to show how much pull liberal activists have, good thing OJ didn't kill any dobermans!

Someone was asking me about this. There is not a lot of land or valuable involved, but there is this lady that I know, who has 3 children. Two of which are trouble makers & drug addicts. She's wanting to draw up a Will, allowing the one child (with the responsibility) to be able to decide what is to be done w/what she does have when she is gone (which is pretty much just things like furniture). If nothing is drawn up, then the other two children will cause big arguments over this & she knows it. I don't know if those "Will kits" that you see, that can be bought, are real. She needs something that she can sign, giving the rights to the one child to decide everything or to flat out put her wishes in it, but it has to be legal. She can't afford a lawyer & doesn't really own anything valuable enough to need a lawyer. All honest answers are appreciated. Thank you.

I live in Britain. The last time I checked it was illegal for most civilians to have them. Although there are criminals who have them, the murder rates taking into consideration population size are much lower than in America. I just read a question where people were saying that with stricter with gun laws, it would be like Nazi Germany. Without taking into consideration all the lives that it would save.

With no controls on Guns, any madman, teenager, child, criminal can obtain a gun and use it on ANYONE. INNOCENT OR NOT.

There is gun crime where I live, I know several innocent people who have been killed, and that is even with Britain's gun laws. I would be terrified to leave my house if they were legal, I have no idea how anyone could justify the fact that they allow so many ignorant people to walk the streets with a tool to end someones life in a split second.

Play music late at night and there is always people shouting at the back in the grounds. Alot of people down my street have young children and my younger sisters have to get up for school. I feel sorry for my next door neighbour who has a 2 year old daughter.
Could i complain to the mp (who runs the club) or should i go to the council. Is there a point complaining at all????
How could i get them to turn the music down?? It all started after the smoking ban!!
I must add they have just started playing the music now FULL BLAST and it usually continues untill the early hours of the morning!!!

Do you have to give them first aid or are you supposed to just stand there? Couldn't a lawyer say that since you let him die, the point of your shooting wasn't self defense, it was murder since the point of a self defense shooting isn't to kill but to defend yourself and once he was on the ground dying he was no longer a threat? I'm assuming you just let him die but I'm interested in what y'all have to say.

I am not sure if this qualifies as verbal abuse. He is always making fun of me in class. I dont even know what is going on in math because I am afraid that he will say something about me. I thought he was just kidding at first, but now I think that enjoys making fun of me. I usually just smile or dont say anything, and that makes him want to do it more. He makes fun of a couple more people, but they all seem to be enjoying talking back to him. Whenever I have a question, during class or on a test, he is always annoyed and makes me feel stupid. Should I tell someone about this?

Like why not just ban all harmful drugs and instead of picking and choosing or REMOVE THE BAN ENTIRELY THE WAY I LOOK AT IT, ITS ILLEGAL FOR THEM TO SAY OH THIS IS LEGAL BUT THAT ISN'T!!!

I live and work in Florida, and today I was fired due to attendance. The problem with this is that I was re-infected with a staph infection earlier last week. I made it to the doctor on Saturday and he gave a note saying I was clear to return to work on Monday (for those wondering why the short time, the staph had reasonably healed and the doctor felt I would be ok to work on monday).

However today I was fired for not coming in on my scheduled shift Saturday despite me bringing the doctors note and contact information. I tried to explain to my supervisors how dangerous these staph infections can be, yet it still did not matter.

Does my situation provide a case for wrongful termination?

He got sentenced to 23 months...will do 85% for good behavior plus he'll get 2-3 months off for substance program cause he got caught for smoking marijuana...everybody thought he was stupid for getting caught 4 smoking but he's a GENIOUS! His lawyer knew he would get that program- 1 cause he's a U.S citizen and 2 cause he got caught on purpose! Also he turned himself in early not cause he wanted to look good in the eyes of the justice..... its so he could get another month off of his time! I dont like Vick but he and his legal team did a wonderful job to get him out sooner...he probably wont even do a year....b out in a half way house in about a year or less and can go home on the weekends!

I didn't realize I had wrote my mom a check with a closed checking account. I should had shreaded them right away, but I didn't. I wrote the check thinking it was my good checking account. My mom got the returned check and said they took the money out of her account and charged her a fee. Since it was my fault, I agreed to pay her the 55 dollars that I owe her. Could I be arrested by my bank. I know its a crime to knowledgly write bad checks, but I did not do it intentionally.
