The individual who did this, stole several checks from my home, they wrote them out to several people and cashed them at local branches of my bank. The amount came to be over 7,000 dollers. I made a police report and made a report with the bank, now i want to press charges what do i do? I also want to get my money back and the bank says "they are still investagating the issue" the bank gave me copys of the checks and they were made out to several diffrent people and two of them actually work for me. It seems as though i have all their infomation now i want to have them aressted and charged with this crime. what do i do? what kind of crime is this? is it a felony?

A few other questions~~

If you're somewhat behind on child support, can you get your license reinstated (or at least get an occupational drivers license) if you're keeping up on your current payments and making payments towards your arrears?

The reason I ask is because, not long ago, my father became unemployed due to a severe back injury. (He has a minor child with a woman other than my mother.) His disability payments haven't been enough to keep up on his child support obligation. As a result, he is now behind by a little more than $5000. He was recently informed by his insurance company that his driver's license has been suspended due to failure to pay support. However, he never received notice. And he is now worried that he will be unable to get to and from work when he is finally able to resume his regular activities and begin paying the entirety of his monthly support obligation.

Any information and advice will be appreciated.

Thank you.

An officer retires and moves to a state far from the area where he worked. Back in his home city, a defendant in a spousal abuse case is requesting discovery from the prosecution. The retired officer's partner knows that the retired officer kept a notebook that had notes from every call that resulted in an arrest, including the arrest of this defendant. The working partner believes the notes are not significant to the case. Telling the prosecutor about the notes means that the retired officer will have to search them out and produce them. Should the working partner tell the prosecutor about the notebook's existence?

I have a next door neighbour, who has inherited the house from his father, he is about 43, he was an adopted child, and is very bitter. Before he came to our street, he was in trouble with the law, a heroin addict, and in court for assaults and breach of the peace. He used to come to see his dad, but he just shouted at him and made a lot of noise, his dad had a heart attack ultimately, and we suspect his behaviour did it. He has insulted me in the past, and threatened my two teen boys with a beating.Since 30 I have had a bad disability, my back is fused, and neck bent. He has shouted in my face and called me a "freak" if i was able i would have kicked his *** good and proper, but i can't, and in truth am wary of him, if he did hit me it could break something serious, neck or similar. My son is worried he might do it, as well, as he is so volatile, we have a dispute now over a leak on a roof, and he is worse now. Do I have an option to sue for slander, and defend myself that way

Many people agree with locker searches for the safety but what if the 'reasonable suspision' is from someone who hates you or has an agenda? Or if you have embarassing female products or contraceptives in there? It is the schools but it is yours while your there, we should feel okay about using them and not always looking over our shoulders to see who is looking in ot spy. I completely agree with scent dogs and metal detectors not with open lockers. How do you feel?

Whenever I see this great new technology to analyze peoples facial profile, or put cameras in schools to protect children, these "privacy" advocates come out of the woodwork and cry foul. What do you think? I really like a safer society...

A friend of mine saw a known child molester working at a local Truck Stop near our home as a janitor. When she confronted the manager to ask if he realized this man was a child molester she was told he was not able to ask questions like that due to HIPPA. This man has access to children and bathrooms....Not all parents watch their children as carefully as they should. Has anyone heard of this or know where I could find more information?

Please serious answers only...there is nothing funny about this question.
Peace.

Actually me and my wife had a long affair and we decided to marry. Now after 3 years of marriage and 2 cute kids, I started feeling that my sister in law is actually the ideal girl for me cuz I feel more comfortable with her, we share almost all common things in us, like adventure sports, new ventures and stuff. Do you guyz think it is normal and if it is what should I do? Why am I being dragged more and more towards her day by day? I am feeling bad for feeling all this. How can i discourage it or I shouldn't at all.

The opposing lawyer supenaed my primary doc for med. records. His letter of request stated the request was by certified letter- but in fact sent standard 1st class. Becoming wary, my doc thought this odd and was reluctant ...thinking perhaps a strategy was at play here.
I think it would be helpful to know the rules of the supenae game.

Thanx in advance for taking on this query.

i go to a strict high school. We had our gym class today and we were playing baseball in the yard. I ran into this guy standing on the base accidentally. he pushed me so i pushed him (shoulder area) and then he started punching. i was then sitting in the school office for half the day thinking about what will happen and what will i tell my parents. I didnt hit him as it was broken up very early in the fight but he landed a couple of hits.

My questions are:
1. Should i be suspended?
2. How should i tell my parents?
3. What are some possible outcomes of this in life (good and bad)

He raped and killed my wife and my daughter right in front of me so I hunted him down and blew his brains out with a 12 gauge shotgun

If I kill him please tell me that this country has people that will let a hero like that go, I'm not saying all Vigilante justice is good (That would be anarchy)

But if this was a case and there was definitive proof that the man he killed was in fact guilty of the rape/homicide of his family would there be a jury that would let him off.
