Why do we allow foreign countries to buy land`in`the`UNITED STATES?

When in some of theirs you can not own land if you are from another country.

And what happens when most of it is owned by others................?

Coming from a Native American halfbreed woman I don't think SO. We were killed for our lands....so what are you talking about not all Americans true Americans are the same.

We are naive and trusting and that is our downfall! Look at all the convenience stores and gas stations and why dont more Americans own them? We need to get back to America first and then maybe you can have our scraps!

Other countries set limits to how much they will give up and they protect themselves. We are not doing that. I agree we are too naïve. I love the idea of a more global experience, but I do also believe we need a stronger foundation of self protection and preservation.
By the way, AMERICANS do not believe we are the only ones that deserve freedom or happiness. We work VERY HARD for what have and we have EVERY RIGHT to protect it.

Hey nice_n_easy, We DID NOT deserve 9/11. A lot of innocent people lost there lives that day. Have some respect. People love to blame AMERICANS and need to start taking responsibility for themselves. I would not want the US to take advantage of another country any more then I would want another country to take advantage of us.

You mean FOREIGN INDIVIDUAL who buy and owned lands in the United States not foreign countries, is there one land owned by Brazil or Czecoslovakia for instance there in the US? Which land is it? You AMERICANS are so ARROGANT just like the opening lines of previous films because this is quite true in the true sense of the word. It is only you Americans are allowed to own land but others are not. But when you go outside the US and you got plenty of money you buy land in Monaco, Brazil, Mexico to name a few, but if someone from China comes to the US to buy land you guys oppose it, why? The world is not your oysters so to speak, share the wealth of the world not only to yourself AMERICANS. I wouldn't wonder why 9/11 happen to you. I donot say you AMERICANS deserve this but it is a WAKE UP call for you people to ease up and smell the flowers. You are not the only people here on earth.

Countries are not allowed to buy lands in the US. If that would be the case then it is against the US constitution. People of different nationality could own land but not countries.

If you are a US citizen you could buy land too in a different countries especially in Southeast Asia, do I have to give example for this? This is a common knowledge already, if you have the money then it is no problem owning land in another country. I donot see any problem on this issues, do you?

Because it's that very economic freedom that has made this country so rich.

It's the countries with the strictest controls on who can buy and sell what that are the poorest.
