I hate coppers....they are all useless!They don't deal with the important problems and crimes...they just deal with petty things!!
Coppers arrest people for drinking, for smoking weed etc....but the people who rob banks get away, paedo's are left to stay in parks, and rapists are walking the streets with their heads held high!!

I was once dragged down the road by a car, I had so many cuts and bruises and if they'd have held on to me for 10 seconds longer I'd have been dead as I'd have gone under the car as they turned the corner!!
So I phoned the police, I knew who held my arm and I knew who was driving, I had pics taken of my arms, head, back, legs and bum...they were viscious injuries!!
I gave my statement and so did the people who were with me....they got a statement off of who held my arm, and of the driver....however because they both said that I held on to the car.....they got away with it because there wasn't enough evidence to say if I was being held or holding on!!

you get less for murder,sexual assualt/rape. on the contray you could serve 5 years for those crimes but a man in cottonwood,al gets 102 years and vick possibly 20 years.

A couple of months a ago, my twin sister and I were watching a talk show about pedafiles. I looked at her and we started talking about when we were children. This all started to bring back memories about this man that used to live in my aunts house, who later married one of my mothers's sisters. He molested us everytime we went over to that house. We talked to my other cousins and this happend to them too. What should we do? My sister and I are 33yrs. old. My cousins are a not that much younger. We tried to talk to him and he says we cannot do anything because its been so long. He is not scared at all. We were about 5 or 6 years old I believe. I need some advice. I have been doing some research but have not found the answeres I need.

I have dreds and my daughter , who was an Assistant Manager for a major sports chain told me that during her training in regards to the company's hiring practices, she was told she could accept applications from, but could not hire anyone with dreds, a mohawk, or visible facial piercings. I haven't been able to secure a job for over a year now, even though I have a work history that is more than 20 years old in various fields, and I am wondering if this kind of hair hiring policy is across the board. What do you think?

The child step-mother has taken her out of state (Maryland)with my brother's other children and a judge in North Carolina granted her an order of protection against my brother with information that is false. The judge gave her custody of our niece (who is not hers) but did not know that we were avaliable to take her. We live in Virginia. Who do we call? The police in Maryland were going to file kidnapping charges but then she got the order of protection and now they say theres nothing they can do. So what can we do? My brother says he and the birth mother would sign over custody....we need this done very quickly...is there anyway? And please don't leave answers that tell me I should be thanking this women for taking her in or that we have no chance because this situation is not right at all!

We (I) signed the paperwork and left that day(in October) with car. No money down payments are to begin in December. I had a job and child support as income. SInce then I have left that job and looking for another. I will get one quick as I will take anything until somethingbetter comes along. The "finance" company just called yesterday for an "interview" since I am not currently employed she said she will have to send back the paperwork. Basically I will be denied the loan. Can they just come take the car since I have not defaulted on payments. They haven't even began yet for me to be late? Help please:)Thanks in advance.

My lawyer says he cannot ethically give information to an advance loan company & the loan cannot go forward without his cooperation but he's had my case since September of 2005 without results. Not even a response from the insurance company involved since he made the first demand in August 2007. I don't think my case is very important to him & I really need the money. There seems to be no recourse to make him take some action. Very frustrating.

They say is martial law happens the citizens need to arm themselves. Hummmm I wonder if that happened how long it would take for the army, the government to tasser and shoot each and everyone who believes arming themselves in the answer give me a break. The government brainwashes people do you not think for one minute you stand any kind of chance even with a gun? Shoot first..ask questions later would be the policy. I am not talking about America only that would also happen in Canada as well if that happened. But of course we dont have liberal gun laws.

legal immigrant from Haiti. I went through the entire long process to come here. Now that I'm a permanent resident I live here, work and pay my taxes. How about the Americans that work for cash and are on welfare? They lie to the government, and are living on my tax money that i work HARD to pay. Don't you think that's also criminal? I have lived here for couple years, I had some hard times, but it never cross my mind to go on welfare, and this valid for all my family members who have 4-5 kids. We are too proud to go on welfare. Some of us prefer to work 3 jobs. I'm sick and tired of others stealing from the government and using my tax money illegally. Your opinion?

I ask this because I am in the process of divorce. The page goes on to list our cars. In our settlement agreement we traded cars. that has already been done and the titles have already been changed. On this document it lists the cars under thier previous ownership. Is that correct? What does this page mean? Why have this page at all?

I have this really good friend who met this guy where she works. He claims to be a real estate/mortgage agent down in dundee Ill. After knowing him for only a few months she gave her entire savings ($17,000) to him to invest in a property. He promised to send her a $200 check every month. When he claimed to send the first check which she never received his excuse was that his secretary never sent it out. The second time he said he would send it, it never arrived.

She is so in love with him that she will not listen to reason. She reasons, why would he tell me where he lives, works and have a "relationship" with me if he were scamming me? I quote relationship because it really isn't a relationship. She's seen him in person maybe 4 or 5 times over the last 6 months. It's mostly a text message, phone, e-mail relationship. He won't come and see her, or make time for her, he claims he's always working.

I think he's scammed her. What can I do?

The pasttime of target practce; archery, throwing blades/darts is not much different than horseshoes except how easy it is to use the actual items used in the sport as dangerous weapons.
True, horseshoes themselves are heavy enough to cause a concussion but you see my point.

Are they legal if not used in an offensive manner, as opposed to sport or in the unlikely event, defensive manner?

I see people walking around with these things clipped on or worn or whatnot and it makes me wonder what the actual legalities and legistations are.

I worked as an engineer and a month ago I cought my employer falsifying test reports and stealing money from our customers. I resigned and was put on adminstrative leave after I put in my 2 weeks. I did not give my employer an oppurtunity to correct these issues (It would not have done any good) can i still get unemployment?

I went to the doctor on 11/15/07. I told the doctor my symptons and she examined me. She then sent my blood & urine work to the lab, but she prescribed the medicine before the results came back. The doctor called me 11/19/07 asking me how I felt. Now I got extremely sick the next day and did not know what was wrong with me. She stated the medicine she prescribed was resistent once she saw my test results. I missed work and a family reunion because I was so sick. What should I do from here? Thanks!
