This is ridiculous! people commit murders they get 15 months or nothing, girls and boys are raped, no conviction, Now Vick has to go to jail for so long over dog fighting?!! Why dogs are more important then human beings? Not that I don't feel bad for the dogs but no one should serve all this time over some dog fighting, when murderers get none sometimes. RIDICULOUS

Vick is facing a possibility of 5 but more likely is 12 to 18 months and out in 2. Vick still may face state charges. Would like to see a link on the cottonwood case you mention. That sounds harsh and have to think there is more to it that just dog fighting.

Maybe in your next life you will come back as one of Vic's dogs. I agree with some of what you said...it seems ridiculous that someone convicted of murdering animals has a stiffer penalty than someone convicted of murdering humans...I think someone who murders a human should suffer the same death their victim suffered...so if they raped and murdered someone then they would be raped and murdered in the same way they killed their victim. If they microwaved their baby...they would also be microwaved. If they killed their dog by allowing other dogs to kill it then they would suffer the same death they allowed their animals to suffer. Seems pretty fair to me.
