Can I sue someone over $50? Is the amount too small to file a claim? The person who borrowed money from me refused to pay back unless I "sleep over" at his place, when I refused his request and asked him to pay back the money, he stopped returning calls or text messages and basically just disappeared. I have text messages as proof and I have his address. What should I do? Should I sue or not?

Committing a crime earns people jail-time, fines and probation--why can't we take away peoples' citizenship and deport them? Make them think about what being an american is all about and how great we have it here.

Ok embarrasing though it is, this is really getting to me. About a year ago I was arrested. My boyfriend has had a few problems with the law. Our house was raided by the police. They found a stolen vehicle in the back yard. They asked me where it came from? I didnt know. I was arrested and released on bail for the vehicle theft. The DA's office did not persue the charges, in fact they are charging my boyfriend with it now. I am required to be fingerprinted for a new jopb that I have worked very hard to get. I was wondering if anyone knew if I was never offically Arrained or charged if this will still show up?

Any idea what he is up to? what he will be talking about?

I hired a programmer for the past 8 years and he has no left me for greener pastures. However he has left me in quite a bind as many of his started projects are left unfinished. He also did my web site which has many issues and error messages cropping up, and not working they way he promised. His attitude is that if it works 90% of the time than it's ok. Or if there is a problem it must be the users stupidity, etc.... He has left me holding the bag. I trusted him to do what he promissed but what he promissed was just a big lie to continue getting a pay check.
I have every email he as ever sent me. Many are riddled with excuses and threats or promises that he never lived up to.
Do I have any legal recourse? Can he be sued for not living up to end of the agreement?

Hey, I'm a college student.
Is it a copyright infringement/plaigerism if I directly post certain passages of my school textbooks online? I plan on posting my study outlines in a blog to hopefully help other students study.. and maybe even get other people involved.

.. so can i?

Do they understand the situation. Is an immigrant illegal when he robs a Circle K? The court don't seem to be getting it.
The American Supreme Court will take some steps when the Mexican Suprems Court says it is justified. Please don't show ignorance by saying the American Court does not care what the Mexican Court says. That is what international laws are for. The UN is an assembly of representatives of various nations supreme courts. In humanitarian issues they must all agree or it is war. All the members will say it is alright for Mexicans to keep crossing the border as they have for hundreds of years.

Girls these days marry the man to capture his belongings and rule over him. When the pressure is felt and the husband resents, the woman goes to the police station. Police pacifies them or files FIR. In both cases police is benefited and they would never want this law to go..!
Notorious women are using this law to insult damage health and extort money from in laws.
How can the law makers be made to understand?
Big cities like Bangalore & Hyderabad with Computer engineers and NRI in plenty are the centres of such rackets. Some fellows are looking for unhappy DIL s to play this game and crush the decent families.

NONE. After nearly six years of disarray and uncertainty about how toprosecute the 320 remaining prisoners being held at Guantánamo Bay,the U.S. government has failed to complete a single trial. As the prisoners continue to languish without being charged or tried, one thing remains very clear: We cannot arbitrarily detain prisoners, deny them access to lawyers, and hold them indefinitely.
