NONE. After nearly six years of disarray and uncertainty about how toprosecute the 320 remaining prisoners being held at Guantánamo Bay,the U.S. government has failed to complete a single trial. As the prisoners continue to languish without being charged or tried, one thing remains very clear: We cannot arbitrarily detain prisoners, deny them access to lawyers, and hold them indefinitely.

Conviction???
Source, chapter and verse.

There was a plead out but not a trial, is that what you are referring to?

Not surprising.

Most of the 320 men in Gitmo have been tortured, so they cannot be tried in a US court of law under normal circumstances, and the military is not very eager to accept the role of judge, jury, and executioner for the same reasons.

Nobody wants to get caught with their pants down, when everything eventually comes to light.

Wrong. There has been one conviction so far. Another trial - a complex one involving an Afghan/Canadian who was a minor when caught - is starting this week.

Thus far the Taliban / Al Qaida supporters have been very succesfull in using legal technicalities to block trials from proceeding. Do you really think this means we should just give up and release them all?
