That depends. Are you the Administrator named in the will. If so yes. But if someone else hired the lawyer because they are the one authorized in the will then no. I suggest you go to the Register of Wills for the county involved and review the estate file. Also, Is there even an estate. Maybe his assets were not part of the estate. You really need an explanation from this attorney or hire some other attorney to find out what the status of the estate is. Good luck

You can fire your attorney because he has red hair and freckles if you want. I would find another lawyer first.
