... in pursuing a law degree specifically with the intent to teach at a law school.

What are the requirements for teaching in a law school? Would a JD be sufficient or is an LLM or even a PhD necessary? If a PhD is usually required, would *she* be able to get away with an LLM only since she already has a PhD in one field - even though not law?

Thanks all.

She's 16 and from Ireland, and she's dating a 15 year old boy in England.

What's the absolute worst that can be done to her since he's under age of consent??? (age of consent over there is 16, so she's over and he's under)

These are famous people that I'm talking about so I can't report this anywhere myself, but I hate her and I was just wondering what could be done to her??

And how long would it take????

Eg: California: Malibu: 1000's of mansions are burning
Eg: Georgia: worse DROUGHT (I thirst) in many years

Could it perhaps have anything to do with "law worketh wrath"?
Should it perhaps consider "grace is sufficient"(no law req'd)?

Hi there. Ok, I'm being sued in Los Angeles for a $3,500 credit card debt. I've been living in Puerto Rico for one year now, where I live very poorly. Here's what my case summary says ( histories extract):

"10/17/2007 CASE MANAGEMENT ORDER SIGNED AND FILED BY JUDGE R.(...). MATTER SET FOR ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE WHY SANCTIONS OR A DISMISSAL OF THE ENTIRE ACTION SHOULD NOT BE IMPOSED FOR FAILURE TO FILE ANY AND ALL PAPERS/DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO BRING THE MATTER TO TRIAL
OR TO EFFECT A FINAL DISPOSITION AS TO ALL ISSUES AND PARTIES TO THE ACTION. HEARING ON 11/19/07 AT 08:30 AM, IN DEPT. (...) . CLERK'S CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE MAILED/GIVEN TO RESPECTIVE PARTIES /COUNSEL."

Question: is this mention bad for me or bad for the Plaintiff? Do I have to show up in Court at the scheduled date, or is it just a preliminary hearing for the Plaintiff to show the judge they have a valid case against me? Am I at risk of a bench warrant if I can't show up for that hearing?
Thanks ++ for your qualif. answ.

Hey ya'll! i am currently 15 years old, will be 16 in june of 2008. I want to get emancipated this summer, but I am not quite sure of everything I will need to do, and I don't want my parents to know about this until it is official, so I can't ask them for help. Will they still let me be emancipated if I'm not in an abusive home? I just simply do not like my parents at ALL, and they are way to strict and refuse to let me see my boyfriend. But who do i go to, to get emancipated and like what do i tell them. will i need a lawyer, and will it cost a FORTUNE?? Because my parents wouldn't help me in any way with that. And also, I live in north carolina, will they rent apartments to a 16 year old? Me and my friend are going to rent one. Ya'lls answers would be greatly appreciated, thank you soo much!!!

I have nothing against people on benifits but it annoys me how people work and have 2 pay taxes so money can go to other families when the parents are very capable to work. In some circumstances fare enough but otherwise get off your **** lol.
My mum worked out with what she earns and after paying it all off she is actually better on benifits.
What do you feel about this?.... am i wrong?

can't they got their IP addresses when they order things on-line, and can't they go to where they ship their purchases?
Especially IP addresses. And shipping, too, if they ship to P.O. boxes, wouldn't there be people who saw them opening these boxes, and IDs shown to open them, and forms filled? It should be a child's game.

To those who oppose the Dream Act, I want to ask you.

The Dream Act will legalize young people who were brought to the US as a minor. It will open a door of opportunity to those who received education here and have assimilated to the American culture. They are going to be your future tax payers.

Under what condition, would you be able to accept the Dream Act of any other amnesty?

What part of the bill you cannot accept, and why?
