A woman just came home from a friends house and the police were inside looking for someone. She was unaware of the police being inside, the front door was locked and the blinds were down, so she entered thru the backdoor. She did not know whats going on inside, when she saw that there were police inside she announced that she was the owner of the home and asked what was going on.

This question recently popped up in one of my classes and it really got me wondering. Here is a married couple that has been married for 12 years. Say you are a doctor and you have to test thier new born child for some sort of genetic disorder. Upon doing so, you discover that the child is not the father's. Do you inform the father or speak to the wife about the child not being his, or do you just give them the results of the test? Say it being a genetic disorder they were testing for and the child did have it but neither of the married couple had it, what would you say then?

So today I was at the Westfield Santa Anita Mall in CA , minding my own business just smoking. Then a mall security comes up and asks me how old I am, why I wasn't at school and if I can give him my ID. I am 19 but I look like I'm 15 or so. I gave him my ID. Then he insisted I give him my mom's cell phone number so he can call her to see if I am really 19 because he didn't believe my ID. About that time I was so pissed off , I just left but he kept on following me. I just drove off. Do they have the right to do this?

I am one hundred and twelve pounds female, and I was man handled by a Bouncer at a night club he pushed me and I hit my head and then he start pulling me by the leg and throw me down the stairs all because I sat on the pool table. Is there anything I can do about this? The only witnessed that was with me was an eighteen year old girl( neighbor) that I decided to accompany to the club because in her own words, her own families didn't seem to care that she was going out alone that night and they didn't wish her a happy birthday either so I felt sorry for her and accompanied her and now she's scared of police and doesn't want to come forward. So the only witnessed that I've got left to come forward is one of the customers that was there on that night. Am I wasting my time to get justice? Is there any sites that I can go to for help? I am in a very emotional state so I would appreciate if you don't answer with any insulting answers thank you.

I had a buddy that was in an accident on saturday night and now know a little bit more about what happened. He was drinking and clipped a car that was parked on the curb of a red light intersection. He says he didnt know he hit them so he kept driving, and the dude turned out to be an off duty police officer. The guy chased him down, stopped him and called the cops and told them he hit and run. They were gonna charge him with felony hit and run and dwi, but the guy had a change of heart (thank god) and said he did'nt want him to go to jail. They said they did not write anything up except an accident report, no warnings, tickets or anything. Only thing they did was write he had been drinking on the report and that he had to tell his insurance company he had been drinking. He is just wondering if for some reason this can all be changed if he changes his mind and wants to press charges? Can he if they did not cite him a violation or document it at all?

I'm troubled by the lack of justice concerning child molesters. After being rehabilitated in prison, they either give a fake address to their parole officer or just forget to register with local law enforcement. Right now over 100,000 of them are missing, and the police have no idea where they are or what they are doing. In my little town, there's 387 pedophiles living in my zip code. Property values are down and child rapes and murders are up. The cops say they don't have enough time, money or staff to deal with it. What if a child molester moves in next door to you and your family? What would you be willing to do to protect your children?

I have been an ebay seller for a while now and have had 100% positive feedback on over 250 transactions. I make it a point to take care of my customers. While I only use this occasionally now, I had hopes of building an online business and would put please see my 100% positive feedback on each auction so people knew they were receiving great service. A guy bought an item from me and decided he didn't want it, so i sent a thing to cancel his bid even though it clearly explained what it was and there were no refunds. Then he tried to give me a best offer or $50 on an item that I was selling for $255. When I said no he made an offer of $100. When I said no he became irrate and sent hateful emails full of cursing. Then he said he was leaving negative feedback, so I told him if he did I would sue him for defamation. So he did leave negative feedback, ruining everything I had worked for. I have all of the emails still. How should I go about suing him and do I have a chance?

Hi

I am doing an essay for university on social attitudes towards EU nationals claiming benefits within the UK.
Do you think they should be allowed to?
We all have a right to freedom of movement and have rights as EU citizens, but do you agree with this policy when it extends to the welfare state. Bearing in mind we have equal rights in all other european countries to move and claim their benefits (obviously subject to certain conditions).

Thanks in anticipation!!!
