Can they garnish your wages and if so how much can they garnish?

If you own stock or have an inheritence can they get that?

And if you don't show up to court can the person sue you for not showing up.

I was in a car accident with this guy. I was driving my mother's car. She is being sued also but had nothing to do with the accident. I am being sued for bodily injuries and car damages. I am employed but I know I don't make enough to afford a lawyer nor do I make enough to pay off his judgement. The car I was drivng had no insurance, that's why he's suing me. WHAT do I do in a situtaion like this. This is my first accident. And I'm very unfamiliar about how the laws work in a case like this.

I would like to have a lawyer or someone who has been in a situation like this to give me some answers or advise..or just an individual

My recently OB found out that my white blood count was abnormally high. The OB and my primary physician found nothing wrong with me, so they sent me to the hemotologist. Before going to the hemotologist, I made sure that they were in network for my insurance.

The hemotologist did some blood work and determined that I was basically healthy, and the high white blood count was probably related to allergies, pregnancy, or some minor digestive problems I was having. She said I showed no signs of leukemia, but she was going to do a leukemia test, just to rule it out. She said if she had to guess, she'd be like 90% sure that I did not have leukemia.

So off goes the labwork...

A month later, I got a statement from my insurance company saying that a claim had been submitted for $3500 for some lab work, under a doctor I had never heard of. After some investigation on my part, I found out that the hemotologist had sent my blood to a lab, which was NOT covered by my insurance co

I was watching the news and heard about "legal" preteen modeling, so i wasn't familiar with it, and as usual I search it. So i searched and I was disguisted at all the TONS of sites that allow this. Do these kids have parents? How can children ages 5-17 posing in thongs, showing camel toes, cleavage, spreading there assets and all that stuff be legal?

I'm in college and I'm also greek, and I want to start throwing parties on my own and I have a good idea how to do it. My questions is how do I get liquor involved legally? It seems that is where the real money is made. With college parties you aren't (legally) allowed to have liquor on the premises but I want to throw a New Years Party with about 400 people..and call it Auld Lang Sine with a "grown and sexy theme"

I live in an apt build. on the 3rd floor. Someone had thrown some trash, (2 cig butts and a paper towel) on the stairway leading up to the 3rd floor, which also happens to have 3 other apts besides mine. Someone assuming for some reason that this was me littering put the garbage on my welcome mat.

I angrily threw it back where it was and shut my door. (I know I could have thrown it away, but I did not want this person to put all future garbage found on my mat. A few hrs later I open my door and the garbage was again put on my mat. I then attached a note on my door to the garbage patrol that it was not my garbage and if they had a problem to knock and we'd settle it. I also mentioned they should get a life.

Is there any better way to settle this? Should I knock on the other 3 doors? I really mind my own business and would like to live in a peaceful environment with no hostility.

Thank you for your time.

...that British Police said not so long ago that :

"When a child has been missing for more than 48 hours it is unlikely that the child will be found alive (...) child normally killed within 48 hrs of abduction !"

Yet everyone was very surprised when, 3 months after Madeleine disappeared, the Portuguese police said that Madeleine is "probably dead" ! ???

I honestly don't remember where I read that but I did read it.

Anyone else remember it ??

and her mom is possibly going to be charged with murder because she could had prevented the accident. She will be charged under a British law that will make the punishment just as severe as if she dilbertely did it.

What is this law and why would you hold someone liable for an accident? I mean accident's happen every day some more severe than others but does that mean if my child jumps off the bed and hits his head and I have to take him to the hospital I'll be charged for it?

My friend who has CP, was scammed 20 years ago by her sister & family. They wanted to "borrow" $50K from her and pay her back monthly. They had signed a contract but it mysteriously disappeared. They now are financially set and have several assets. My friend does not have money for a lawyer right now. What can I do to help her? Will a lawyer make a deal with her to get her sister to pay the legal fees? Also what can the courts do to get her her money in lump sum? How long do these things usually take to settle? Thanks

I heard that if you born after 1992 (not including 1992) then you can't get your drivers licence till you 18. Anyone born in 1992 and after can get their licence at 16 1/2. Is this true? cuz me and my friends argue about it alot and i wanna get it solved once and for all!!
