I don't own one, but have always been curious when going to pet store that there are so many ferret products for sale. Also want to know if vets are required to report a person bringing in a ferret for treatment.

Given, of course, that it is not accompanied by gun wielding or ranting and raving, or expressed by someone with a history of violence. Do people really believe it to be a significant threat, especially if followed by a reasonable plea for assistance in a minor matter at work? How can it be punishable if no harm or threat of harm was intended, if it was only a poor choice of words?

We live next door to a church. They have put up a basketball hoop that is about 20 feet from our driveway, which makes the basketball court part of their parking lot and an alley. Because of this hoop there are days where we can't get in our driveway because there are people everywhere. Then when you back out of the driveway you have to worry about hitting someone. Oh yes, then there are the times when the basketball is bouncing off our cars from the rebound. The whole location of the hoop presents such an unsafe situation. The other problem is the type of people that are coming down here to play. There is a group of guys who are messing with our property everytime that they are down here. They leave their trash all over the place and they are constantly over at our house using our hose hookup to get water. I have tried talking to the church but they are very unreasonable. What should I do? Can I point out to city council the safety issues?

The Bush baby has flown to Iraq to “look people in the eye” to get answers. What the hell kind of teen age crap are we talking about. People are dieing and he is playing punk in a playground. Nothing like a couple of photo ops to cover a lack of intelligent policy. All this planning going into the campaign to restore credibility. Could he next try going to the moon, perhaps that will help. What is he supposed to be accomplishing? Does he think he will come back to congress with the claim, “I know, I have been there.” Can we get any more desperately ridiculous? And don't forget to get a few interviews with soldiers on how they are honored to carry out the policy of their commander and chief. These are all free unfettered and completely spontaneous of course. The village idiots are playing to the rest of the village idiots. If people were not getting blown up it would be a comedy. Instead it is a disgusting obscenity

Child neglect is a form of child abuse and prosecuted in a court of law as abuse with parents and other individuals responsible for neglecting the child. Why do Non-paying parents get a slap on the wrist. The biggest form of child neglect I feel is not paying child support for your child. All other forms of neglect stem from this form of neglect such as, hunger, health(mediacal costs) clothing, education along with many more. Not paying child support intentionally is a criminal act. It is a crime against childern. A form of child abuse, child neglect and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

My friend who entered the U.S legally 7 yrs ago has let her visa expired just recently got married with U.S citizen and still in process of filing for permanent resident card. However, she just got jury duty paper from the court. She replied them that she's not U.S citizen but they want some type of papers to show her legal status in U.S.A. She's talked to the immigration lawyer because she's afraid to get in trouble with the court(she has 1 U.S born child and now pregnant with another child). The lawyer told her that it won't be any problems because she's not U.S citizen. Please suggest what she should do.

My girlfriend tells me to make a right to get onto the highway and I crossed 3 lanes and just as i was about to make a right my gf says theres no turn on red ( I live in long island..you can turn in certain cases on red). I hit the break hard enough for me to stop. All of a sudden i hear a car screatch behind me. It was a cop!! Got scared since i thought it was going to hit me. I moved up just a bit cause of the fear especially after seeing the cop lights. The cop tells me that my car lights were off(main reason why i think the cop was chasing me). He tells me to get out of the car to see if i was drinking. I didnt worry about that after that he left me go back to my car. Few min later he gives me a ticket for turning on red where prohibited. I didnt know what to do so i didnt say anything. I know i stopped on time and my gf agrees too! what should i do? go to court and get a free lawyer to explain my situation? Im afraid hes going to win just cause he is a cop.

My wife borrowed money ($4500) from a friend of hers and had pre wrote checks in $500 increments dated on her pay periods to pay her back. Then my wife lost her job and couldn’t come up with the funds to pay her friend back. I tried to come up with a payment plan we could handle but she wasn’t having it and wanted the full amount immediately. So she sued my wife and won obviously, for about $3500 since I paid her $1000 already. My wife is still with out work and this woman threatened to pay her the full remaining amount in 15 days or she will take our stuff and pursue criminal charges on the bad checka. The women is being very difficult and since I am not on the account with my wife I am not liable. But Can she come take our stuff, we really have nothing of real value (TV? Washer and dryer? What can she take). Also can she be charged with criminal charges and end up in jail or something? We just don’t have the money to pay her immediately like she wants.

Hello Folks,

One of my sisters is the executor of our parents will. I am in the will as executor in case anything happened to my sister. The estate is in Kentucky and I live Florida. The estate is barren of any other property (the vultures picked it clean) as I was told by my brother. There are no stipulations in the will regarding access of the children entering the home however after flying back to Kentucky, my sister refused me access to the home.

My question is simply, "Can she legally do this"?

Johnny

**Please read my whole question before you answer!**

I'm confused about the legality and ethics of a specific area of p2p filesharing. I completely understand that downloading movies, dvds, or cds that have been illegally burned is illegal and unethical, and I get why.

What I'm NOT sure of is the legality of downloading television shows (not ones ripped from dvds, ones that have just been broadcasted) from another country. I mean, since the information is not AVAILABLE to be purchased anywhere in this country (and never will be, if you consider sports commentary shows and the like), is it even illegal?

As a seperate question, can this possibly be considered unethical? I mean, to download a tv show you couldn't get in the US even with the best satellite service available isn't taking money from ANYONE'S pockets, is it? At that point, can it really be considered stealing from an ethical point of view?
