I have contacted my U.S. Representative no less than 4X in the last few months.
The first two contacts were via e-mail. Then by mail and finally by phone.
While I don't expect to talk to him personally, I would at least like to hear back from one of his staff members.
Is there anything anyone else has done or that I can do?

My aunt is a psychopath. She was a spoiled brat as a child. She is a neurotic, self-absorbed monster who has managed to alienate much of the rest of my family, yet she has always managed to manipulate us into catering to her needs while offering nothing in return. As my 90+yrs. old grandmother's health has continued to worsen my aunt has refused to contribute her share toward her healthcare, leaving the financial burden solely on my father. This despite the fact that he has gone as far as to rescue her from abusive relationships in the past. She has broken my heart in that she has kept me from seeing my little cousins whom I adore, knowingly taking advantage of my own clinical depression in attempt to use me as a pawn against my father. Now she responds to my heartbreak with slanderous accusations of my 'stalking' her. I keep advising my father to sue for her share of my grandmother's healthcare, but he refuses. Please. Is there some way I would have a case for suing her myself?

About a month ago, my friend told me that she and two other friends of ours were waiting at the bus stop one day trying to get around town not looking suspicious and not having done anything wrong except for the fact that they were teenagers around the ages of 15 and 16 (I'm 15 too btw). She told me that two really really fake looking undercover cops came by trying to look young with clothes that obviously didn't match them. One of them asked something like"hey, you guys lookin' to buy some weed?" My friend answered no and asked "you guys are cops aren't you?" and made fun of them by telling them not to dress so fake next time and two idiots just walked away.

I was pissed off that they actually tried catching my friends with something like that, but I was wondering if they're even allowed to do that. Isn't it considered entrapment or something if they actually ask you and you haven't done anything? And as long as you're innocent, you can refuse any request to search you, right?

In August of last year, I was traveling for my company in another state for 2 weeks, and I rented an Avis rental car. I was involved in a car accident which was determined by the police as no ones fault. I did not take out the rental insurance and did not have personal auto insurance at the time (stupid I know!). The company did not have travel insurance on the companies AMEX card. I did not report the accident to the company at the time in fear of losing my job, and now over a year later, a lawyer representing Avis is trying to sue me for $18,000 which is the full value of the car. (Also.... the accident took place while returning from dinner, but I was staying overnight)

My question is.... Should the company I was working for at the time be responsible for the damages beacause I was on company time? Don't forget, a year has gone by so i'm not sure if a staute of limitations has any role to play in this.

Okay so everyone knows that America is the greatest country on earth. The American race itself descended directly from God's kingdom in the sky. There is no need for other languages besides English. I don't give a rats as about other people's culture and ideas and traditions being lost in translation. Everyone especially the people in America should speak English. It should be illegal to speak any other language besides English. It should also be illegal to be a homosexual. Sodomy laws of the most important laws. If you're a homosexual you are already damned to Hell no matter what. Also just because gas is expensive does not mean one needs to drive a fuel efficient vehicle. Drive a gas guzzling truck or SUV like good American and give all your money to the oil companies to show your support for the president. Also stop complaining about poor health insurance in this country, just get fat and have medical complications and going to medical data and support the economy! Okay !

Here they are:

Abuse of power:

-- Violating Habeus Corpus; denying Due Process of Law to detainees.

Violating our Constitutional system of Checks & Balances and Separation of Powers by:

-- Frequent and excessive use of signing statements, detailing what he will and will not enforce. He is not a legislature. His job is to enforce ALL the law.

-- Keeping Congress, which has a Constitutional role in oversight, in the dark on many matters.

Obstruction of justice:

-- Ordering subordinates not to testify to Congress (ignoring subpoenas), withholding requested documents.

Breaking the law

-- FISA Act. Illegal wiretaps.
-- The law prohibiting outing of CIA personnel.
-- Violating our Treaty obligations under the Geneva Conventions with illegal detention, torture, and renditioning.

If you believe in the Rule of Law, the office of the Presidency MUST be restored to its Constitutional limits. Otherwise you set in stone what a President can do and get away with. I

I am seeing a lot of questions, tonight, regarding political parties and basically, meritless claims of this kind of behavior and that. Mostly it is the questions like "why do blahblah THINK or SAY this that, etc." then people respond with "well it's because THEY are this way or THAT" basically doing the same thing they are accusing the other party of, silly assumptions, claims about their motives, etc. Now, it would seem to me some people would know better than to sit and do what they accuse someone else of doing. But that isn't the case. Are these people actually paying attention to anything or just, spewing whatever they think will be the most damaging to someone else while making themselves look worse for it?

What I mean is, if there are one or more people, or agents, behaving in a way or doing something wrong that causes harm to come to others (harm being very broad in scope) and

1) the agents are acting on the behalf of, or are representing a higher authority or party, yet
2) it cannot be proven that that authority or party truly exists or
3) it cannot be proven that the authority actually instructed the agents in how to act,

can a suit or indictment be carried out against either the agents, the unknown party, or both?
