for the clinton resounding whine once read...
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070903/ap_po/clinton_labor

quote Bill Clinton...
In Iowa, he told the crowd that one of the biggest challenges of "being president is not being out of touch with the people who put you there." For his wife, he said that wouldn't be a problem.

It may not have been a problem for her, but why cant he see it was for everyone else???

- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
Cmon libs, this is in touch??

I was terminated from my job 2 weeks ago. I saw it coming, I knew it wasn't working out and when my employer sat down with me they said it wasn't personal, that they liked me but they felt like the work wasn't a good fit. Now I'm having a hard time getting hired anywhere and I'm worried that they may have told me one thing and are telling potential employers something different. Should I tell potential employers not to contact them? Should I call them and find out what they're telling potential employers so we're on the same page? How can I recover from this incident?

The other day my friend was walking to his bus stop on his way to work. He was in the middle of the street when a SUV hit him straight on. He was hit at about 30 miles an hour and actually took the side mirror of the car. His glasses were crushed which cost about $500. The ambulance came and checked him out and said he looked fine. Well 2 days later he was in terrible pain and went the ER to find out he was very bruised internally on his rib cage. Now he's scared to walk on the street at all, feels terrible and can't see without his glasses. They ordered his glasses which will take a week. My question is it was the drivers fault completely and the driver has Allstate insurance. Should my friend hire a lawyer and try to get some major money out of this or should he ask for a settlement of some sort? I mean there are doctor bills, eye doctor bills, pain and suffering extremely, not to mention the fear of walking outside now. what would be a reasonable settlement or offer for him?

My aunt barbie was our accountant for 15 years, and in the last 6 monthes we have evidence that 10,000 dollars of our money went missing, she was in charge of taking it to the bank, and we have evidence she purposely modified our financial books to hide cash so we wouldn't know it was missing. We bring this all to the cops and they tell us the only way to charge her criminally is a forensic audit of our financial records, which costs 15-20,000. This is outrageous that she will get away with our money unless she confesses. She's taking a polygraph in a week, but even if she fails it isn't admissible in court, it just gives the cops enough reason to aggressively interrogate her. Any advice?

I am on a sports team with a guy I recently found out (through a mutual acquaintance) is a sex offender. Since he was convicted in 1991 prior to the tier-level system, there is no information available on the registry other than the conviction date and offense (sexual assault).

I am trying not to condemn this guy without cause. Even though ANY sexual offense is horrible, I'm hoping he just made a bad mistake when he was young, and he seems like an ok guy now. But (as a woman) I would really like to know more about what he did so I know whether to be cautious around him.

Is there any way I can find out what, exactly, he did? I don't want to snoop but I want to know if he slapped a woman's rear or raped someone... big difference.

Also, I was sexually abused as a child. Is it normal for me to not want to be around him because of this? It's not that I fear for my safety, but I associate his status as a sexual offender with the guy who abused me. Is this reasonable?

My mother passed away last week. No will and lots of debt to make long story short. Her only assets that we can find is a checking account with maybe $800 and her car. We did find papers stating the car is covered by life insurance but she owes so much money that the car will go to her estate. She has a small life insurance policy of about $10,000. She was making payments on a mobile home that is worth $29,000. No other assets to speak of. Her ending debt including medical bills and credit cards is well over $200,000 (not exaggerating!) Since she has no will what little she has will go to estate from what I know. So should my brother and I (who are the beneficiaries of the life insurance policy) expect to even see any of the policy or estate? With her owing so much money to so many people is the state gonna just eat it all up and use it to pay her bills? We have no other family so it's not like anyone is gonna show up wanting money. We just wanna pay for her funeral. HELP!! :(

She works full-time 8 hrs. She has 1 break for 15 min. and 1 lunch for 30 hr. her team leader ( not her manager) told her that if she doesn't like it she will not schedule her in the high traffic area where she opens ALOT of credit cards and she would be placed in a low traffic area in a very slow part of the store. Can she file a harassment complaint against Sears?
I just find it strange that her team leader would make her work 7 hours straight with one 15 min break. My wife came home depressed with a stomache ache at night and couldn't sleep because she was trying to figure out why this was happening to her.

Car accident my air bag didn't deploy. Brand new car (corolla s 2007)157miles on it. Some guy cut me off i tried to change lane lost control and crashed into the side. i was told i hit a telephone poll and maybe a sign. I don't know if i hit it straight on or not. I was also told my car had flipped, don't recall whether he said couple time or once. There is a big dent to the driver side cut into the motor where the wheel is (poll probably). The whole front is demolished and the car is totaled. I don't think you would be able to tell if it was a head on or side hit from looking at the car..thats how bad the front is. I was going 80-90mph or maybe less i don't recall exactly. The police officer was even surprise the airbag didn't go off when we talked in the hospital. i suffered a concussion, a bone fracture in the face, and minor cuts bruises. Do i have a case here?(against dealership)
I am very lucky to be alive.

she was at customer services and i was waiting just a few yards away there was a fancy weighing machine close buy I put in 50 pence about $1 the machine didn`t work but kept the money. while my wife was at customer services i joined her and asked for my money that i`d lost in the machine i was refused point blank the store said the machine was`nt theirs.
I asked to see a manager a young girl came over went over to the machine to see if there was a phone number I could phone would you believe. I asked to see another manager a lady called Pat came she said i could`nt have my money back it was`nt their machine. I got her to put it in writing and she wrote.
pat service manager 50p or one dollar not given because health monitor not owned by and the supermakets name.
I can`t believe they can have a machine in their shop thats faulty and take no responsibility for it. Its not a lot of money but there is a principle this is a massive nation wide store do you think this can be right.

Our fence got torn apart by strong winds about 6 months ago. We ask our neighbors to help pay so we can get the fence fixed, but they refuse. What can we do about it? Isn't it invasion of privacy since they can see what we're doing vise versa?

At the employer I recently started working with, they pay for our lunches (We don't get any breaks I don't think, not even $15). On the 30 minute lunches we are not allowed to leave the premises of the store or use our cellphones at all. They said it was an asset protection issue with using cellphones. We are not supposed to have cellphones in the building even.

This is a major restaurant chain, so I doubt they would make a mistake, I just wonder is it totally legal?

I got pulled over last night for driving without my headlights on, dispite being courteous and polite that jackass gave me the lamest ticket ever!Driving without my lights on. I'm planning on pleading not guilty and making these asses work for the fine that I might have to pay anyway. I also read that I could make a written defense without having to show in court. I live in Arizona I dont know if it is that way in all states.
