Drop a dime (now a quarter) and phone the police, FBI, and IRS. They are stealing our money (taxes) and your knowledge makes you an accomplice..

Do know you can earn a reward for being an informant for the IRS?

There is the legal issue of being a possible accomplice to this crime. How did you find out? If they told you, then they trust you and you are probably more closely involved in this then you are letting us on. Knowing and not telling could be an legal issue down the road. And if you do not know, legal issues can become a living nightmare if not taken care of.

As for the moral viewpoint however, the income tax is technically illegal in accordance of our US constitution. Why support something illegal?

The fact that you know about it makes you a conspirator. Report him immediately. Either report him anonymously to the corporation's Ethics & Compliance unit, or to the IRS. Try to provide as many facts as possible. Although I'm deeply sorry you are in this position, you obviously already know what the right thing to do is. Be brave.

Sometimes the only way to get on in business is to hide a few quid here and there. I run a water garden centre and with council rates, insurance, VAT, TAX, wages licences and any other thing the govt. can think of to take money off us it's little wonder why people try and cut costs and save a bit for themselves.

Leave them to it - unless you want to see another business go into liquidation!!

Go with your conscience.
We have our own business and have just written a cheque for just under £10,000 for the VAT man.
I understand where you are coming from though.
Only you can decide.

Wouldnt mind if they did something constructive with it .

Lots of people do this and sometimes in a way that they call loopholes, why would you want to report them though. If it's not affecting you let them get on with it.
