No offence but three tries to spell it right? Maybe you could have issues figuring out the legal issues.

Even if it was straight up and you knew this person forever there could be problems. You have to wend the system regardless. Sometimes it is better to get a fiance visa.... where the person can come, get married and gets a conditional card. That means the spouse can work but if it dissolves before 2 years the spouse has to leave..... period.

This can be faster than marrying that person and applying for a spousal visa. No matter what the fiance or spouse has to interview at an embassy. You have to present evidence..... how do you know this person? How did you meet? What stamps do either have on your passports and do you have letters and such.

Then later. Pictures of vacations, joint bank accounts (a serious key), proving that you live together (say a lease). the others job, are you a beneficiary of work insurance, health insurance, etc.

Nigeria is so to speak a "denied" country so it can be done but unless you have some serious proof it will cost thousands upon thousands and take years.

All you need to do is comply with Nigerian law concerning marriage. Just remember, there's no right to bring your husband back. It's a privilege.

Getting married does not make him a citizen. Getting married does not guarantee him a Green Card.

You will have to come back, alone, to the US and file an application for him to come to the US. You need to go to this web site....

...download, print, fill out and file the following forms.

I-130
I-134
G-325

It will take about a year to process them and interview your husband in Nigeria. Approval is not guaranteed.

Niagara, as in New York or Canada?

Or, do you mean ... Niger or Nigeria?

Check with the US State Department ..
