I need something official from a website or someone stating that my green card is valid even though it was issued before 1989 and does not have an expiration date asap. I'm in the airport and they're not letting me pass the security check point with this greencard, even though I've done it for the past 10 years, and I travel all the time. Any help would be GREAT. . . PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

My sister let her dead-beat son and his family move into a vacant house she had for sale. He is living there rent-free with no lease. Immediately there were problems with damage due to the son & girlfriend fighting. They have not lived there for over 2 weeks now but refuse to remove their belongings. She has someone who is interested in buying the house but the son is telling her that no one can enter the property (not even her) as long as his belongings are there. That he is renting the house and has the same rights as a renter, even though no money has changed hands. Is this correct? To me, she should be able to remove his stuff and go on with her plans to sell the house.

My drug test came back negative but there was a "faint-line for THC". I found a medical journal that says NSAIDs may cause false positives for THC. I take Indomethacin and Naproxen. What if my P.O. doesn't accept them as causing false positives? What are my rights when a positive comes up? Do I have a right to get it tested in a laboratory to find if it is a false or true positive? I am on probation.

how to go about lowering your child support payments in the state of Ohio? When the support order was issued (2 years ago) I was making more money than I am now and now I have a new baby with my current girlfriend. I don't even bring in enough money now to make my monthly bills so hiring an attorney is out of the question as it will just be another expense. I'm not trying to get out of paying for my kids, but I can't even afford anything at this point. As of now I am paying $780 per month and my ex makes more money than I do. I don't understand why I should pay so much when I have my children almost half the time she does. They have their own clothes, personal items, toys, that I purchase for them when they are with me. I would really appreciate any advice from people who have been in this situation such as how long it took, how hard it was, etc.. Please no nasty comments about me not taking care of my children.

I have just signed a consent and waiver by parent form, had it notarized and filed with the courts in florida. I have a case #. The question is my ex-wife new husband is going to be the adoptee. Now I still have a pending case with child support agency in florida and they state by signing this form is does not waive child support. My ex-wife refuses me to see the children for almost a year. I have filed contempt in court but nothing ever happened, they courts ignored the contempt or they are just taking a long time for the court case. So because of this I am allowing her new husband to adopt the kids.

She stated to me by signing this waiver is waiving me of all rights including Child Support. But the Dept of Revenue said they cannot use this form because it's not signed by the judge as a final order.

Is child support obligated to use this form waiving me from child support because I waived my rights. There is no place for the judge to sign on the form. Please help!

Basically, I know the Age of Consent in both Georgia and Pennsylvania is 16, and age difference limits are 4 years. Legal age is 18. The law in Georgia is that a 19 year old could participate in certain interactions with a 16 year old, but not with a 13 year old... So here's where my question comes in.

I'm almost 16. Will be in October anyway. The other person is 14. will be 15 next May. She is intending on visiting next May as well, and neither of us are stupid enough to do anything we know we shouldn't do. I'm quite mature, trust me. Going to college later this year in fact, getting a part-time job, etc.

But my question is, is there a limit on what we can and can't do together just with this 1½ year difference? Or would it be illegal to do anything aside from hugs, kisses, etc.?

Basically my question is: Would any form of intercourse, or foreplay, be legal between us at our current age, or would she have to be 16 for anything to be allowed?

Most of the people who heard about law degree always think the subject is very hard. Sometimes they not to confidence to take the subject.

But why I think that law degree is a lot easier than pure math degree, or archicteture, or medicine? Do you think so too?

So why many people has build in their image, that law is scary subject? Surely there would be some explanation of some factors?

Michigan has a 36 month waiting period after your drivers license is suspended before you are eligible to apply for a commercial drivers license. Does a Judge have the authority to set aside or waiver the remaining time so that I can get my CDL sooner???

well, i just went on a mission trip and my friends and i got these really cool t-shirts with bible verses on them and stuff. but my friends said that the last time they wore them they got in trouble because they had "God" on it and had to turn it inside out.

well, i kinda want to wear mine to school now, and if i get in trouble and have to change, im not going to. i mean, if kids can wear religious head scarfs then why cant i wear my shirt? better yet, what can the school do to me if i refuse to change my shirt? im not worried about them calling my parents because my mom is against this whole policy of no religion in school. can it go on my permanent record?

Real quick: this ***** (17 yrs old) who used to be my little sister's good friend for years but only drops by my house once in a blue moon now accused my father of touching her butt. Problem is, she says this occured 6 months ago or a 1 year and 6 months, i dont know the exact details, but she only reported it to the police 2 weeks ago. My father promises on his life he never did this and I believe him, not because he's my dad but he's never been a touchy, feely, kind of guy. He has been in this country for 24 years and has never had anything on his record, nothing, not even a point on his license. Another thing, that c*** is a delusional hoe who is hooked on prescription meds and pot; she is a compulsive liar, and even if the "harrasment" occured 6 months ago, she came to my house in May to borrow my sister's shoes and jeans. If it was so serious that she had to inform the authorities, why would she come to my home afterwards? This is not right! your opinion!

I have irreversible side effects from a drug, which was used for a gynecological problem. I stopped to use this drug since February 2006. Victims are suing this drug manufacturer. No lawyer takes my case until I have a medical experts who confirms, that I was harmed by the drug.

The problem is, when I talked with my gynecologist about my permanent side effects, he denied to treat me. I told my family physician about my problems. She said, she did not hear that other patients had any problems. I printed an article about the lawsuit where people sued for the irreversible side effects that I have. When I showed her the article, she said nothing and denied to treat me.

Where can I find a doctor who is not afraid to testify in court?

I don't know, where I can find the right doctor.

ok so today in Phoenix Arizona two news TV helecopters went down while covering a polie chase of a guy who had stolen a car then hijacked a second vehicle, the helecopters apparently (they dont know for sure what happened) ran into eachother while they were trying to get in position to get a good shot of the chase. now it is very sad to say but both helecopters crashed and everyone inside them died, a total of four very good people that everyone around here knows. terrible tradegy. now here is where things get complicated, there is talk of prosecuting the guy who was being chased and holding him liable for the deaths of the news crew that perished in the crash. everyone seems to be just jumping on this band wagon, like they want to punish someone for these guys dieing but does this seem right? he is a criminal yes and he will do time for his crimes but is he really at fault for news helicopters crashing? it was there job to cover the chase and he had nothing to do with why they crashed

I've read a story of a Canadian female prisoner who earned a degree in Psychology (from Queen's University) while serving her sentence.

This was news to me. (And I don't know if this possible in my country. I've heard of prisoners in my country though, who completed Grade 5 and 6 while serving their sentences).

I assume that prisoners are supposed to have a high school diploma to qualify for such programs, aren't they?
Do they have to write any other examinations to be accepted?
And how many programs (or majors) are available?

Finally, as for their university work, are there classes in prison?
Or is the teaching method the same as in distance learning?

That was a quite interesting news story, I must say.

Okay here's the situation today in Phoenix two news helicopters were covering a police chase when they crashed. All 4 people on board died. Now something was passed that anyone causing the chase could be charged with any deaths that happen because of the chase.

Personally I think it's a good thing considering what's happened in the past and today. Just wanted to know what you guys thought about it.
