As a matter of fact I do trust this person with my child. She made a mistake 3 years ago and hasn't had a drink since and is very sorry for driving after having some drinks. I just wanted to know if it was legal for her to work with that charge, not how you felt about it.

Yes. Look at Michie's Texas Code Annotated. You can get it at your local library. In order NOT to work at a daycare, you have to have a drug offense (misdemeanors qualify too!) or an offense against a minor.

Yes its legal, there not aloud to tell u that u can't apply. (Against the law) but you will have to go through a background check and everything. But most likely u want get the job unless u kno the person. I kno because my mom worked in child care for about 15 yrs. now and a lady had just a misdemenor and they wouldn't except her.

If clearances are asked it better be produced (Acts 34 & 35)
One is for criminal background
I dont think so based on the idea that the person will pick up the paddle and beat the a**??? Some kids need it though

I think the daycare center can be choosy about hiring a person regardless of the crime they committed. It depends though, ask them
