The LDS church never discriminated against any race, nor did we ever break any civil rights laws. So, how could anyone say that theh government could take away our tax exempt status?

They could easily do it because the church does not ordain women into their priestshood. The Catholics, too. But I don't see them making any moves along those lines. Or because of our stand on active homosexuals.

I've heard that kilts are making a come back and i can see the appeal (va-va-voom!).
But they seem convienient for a rapist to do his "business" with.
So shouldn't it be illegal for rapists to wear kilts?

For 2 years a have a dispute with a small corporation I used to work for. The management pushes me to make the disclosures, which I refuse. Recently they file a civil suit against another ex-employee (in my opinion completely groundless) and send me a subpoena to demonstrate everything I have regarding the company. This lawsuit has nothing to do with me. What do I do? Can I object subpoena? The disclosure they ask for has nothing to do with the lawsuit.

My friend and I are having a discussion about open containers, and we were wondering if you can drink any alcoholic beverage out on your porch, front yard etc. without citation or getting arrested, if you are of legal age? Please only informational answers, and if you don't really know, don't post anything. Thank you.

My former foster family & my biological family used to physically abuse me, & I'm talking about writing an autobiography. & when I seek advice on how to go about doing that, people tell me that my families have the right to sue me for slander.

How is that & I'm telling the truth?

That's like if a woman was raped & wrote an autobiography on her life & included it in the book, & people would tell her that the rapist had every right to sue her for slander. That's not fair.

Doesn't that stretch reason? Was he shooting at the helicopters? Did he sabotage them? Were the choppers forced to avoid him? I know you are as guilty of murder if your accomplice actually committed it, and you must knowing place police officers at risk when you flee from them, but how could you be responsible for either mechanical malfunctions or pilot error leading to a crash a few hundred feet away from you?

Socialists have had corporal punishment banned (i.e. 10 strikes of a cane), because it is considered inhumanely cruel. However, the same people with feminist attitudes would consider jailing two 13 year old boys and giving them sex offender titles for butt slapping (sexual harrasment).

Another example of socialist stupidity and hypocracy?
What do you think?

Someone I know was stpuid and broke into a car. he knows waht he did was wrong and he had to stay in jail and i think he has learned his lesson. The people who snitched on him didn't even see him doing it. He was selling the stereo but they had no idea that it has been stolen. He lives in a bad neighborhood and has never really had much. he came from a bad family and I guess he was never told right from wrong. Like I said, I think that it would be ok normally but since wher ehe is, people don't do that because bad stuff can happen to them. I mean for their own safety. I can see why they did it, but it was a dangerous move. I am in no way condoning what he did because it was wrong. I just think it was out of line for someone to do that if they didn't even know.
Now if they saw him then yes.. that would be appropriate. well someone let me know. I guess if you come from diff side of the tracks you are going to think differently.

I note that, increasingly, PCers and such-like are using the abuse button to silence people with whom they disagree.
One half-wit wrote "You're a racist.Enough said"
THIS exemplifies the point that I am continually making: The shouting of a single WORD will silence ALL dissent!
No need for reason.
No need for debate.
No need for discussion.
Just shout the WORD!

Another cretin wrote "reported+the date"
I can just imagine them turning to their "mate" and saying "That told him: the Fascist!"
And their mate saying "Oh,I love you when you're STERN! "
Of course, I think Yahoo! are equally at fault for being so Sh1t-scared of this self-appointed Elite.
