check with the administration for policies. once you've read the policy you can chose wether or not to sue.

No, you can't sue them for censoring your work in 99.999% of the situations that would arise. You expressly agree to THEIR CENSORSHIP POLICIES by enrolling in their institution. As for the individual policies, just ask for them. They'll give those policies to you. It is different at EVERY school.

Are they a private school?
If so you should not be able to sue them (I say should not because you can sue for anything unfortunately).
They are not required to show your work unless you have a contract with them saying so, they are doing it out of discrimination, or they are gov't and are violating your free speech rights.
Private groups are not required to allow you to put up your work or opinions on their property. In fact, they have a right to not have you work forced on them; and more importantly, if they are not gov't they have their own free speech rights which allow them to stop speech that they dont agree with being displayed on their property--you cant violate their free speech rights just because youre upset that they didnt like your art.
