I snitch all the time when I see people take stuff. I've also been ripped off quite a bit. There is nothing worse than someone taking something of yours that you worked hard for and they should pay the time for it. Why should I bust my *** all day so that someone can help them selves to what I've earned. It sucks being a victim and no one should have to deal with that (unless they themselves are crooks).
If its a matter of thinking they should get away with doing it because they're poor, then that is a bunch of BS. I spend a good amount of my paycheck to instate social programs designed to help people. And I think they should be used more.
So no, Snitching isn't wrong. Someone might not like you because of it, but I don't think its wrong at all.

As a kid, you're told that "snitching" is bad but, as an adult, things change. All of us share a responsibility to help protect other people and their property. Many heroes are made by those who take action against abuse or crime, and the victims are generally grateful. John Walsh has been instrumental in aiding in the capture of nearly a thousand "wanted" people, and we should all applaud him for his effort!

My feelings is if you didn't witness and someone told you that it happened , you really don't know if it is true or not. I don't think you should go to the police on someone eles's gossip which it well may have been gossip. i wouldn't ever go myself to the police only if I saw this person stealing then that is different I could prove it, not here say. First I would go to the owner of the property that was stolen and tell them what I saw and if the police wanted to talk to me about what I saw happened than I would tell them the truth.

They have as much reason to believe he did it as anyone. Police will investigate and ask the right questions based upon the information received from the public. That partly, what their job is all about. I hate the word "snitch", sounds like a grade-school term to me. I prefer to think of it as character, or integrity. His, apparently needed adjustment. Hope this works.

Really i dont think it is alright for anyone to snitch. Murdure Yes. Violence Yes, and in some cases stealing. but you know being a good citizen dosent get you anything why do it. it is better of if everyone kept to them selves in matters like that and the world would have less people sueing eachother
