Freedom to do mostly anything in this country within small limits. Some persons think that it entitles them to be irresponsible in their actions. Lindsay Lohan and now Nicole Ricci are poor examples of freedom. Freedom to obtain a financial growth does not entitle you to exercise bad behavior. Responsibility to assist and lead as a figure head in a community setting is a more responsible goal. To assist in the
education and the support of youth in this country is a more noble cause. Reap what you sow. Children with guns with no leadership is dangerous. Can anyone see this?

If I file a workers compensation claim and I decide this job is to much for is the employeer still responsible for paying for medical care after I leave. Like this is my second claim I had surgery on the first one and just had to file another one. I just begun to go to the doctor but I seriously want to find something not so hard on my body. Will workers compenstaion still pay or should I consult an attorney.

I'm fighting to regain custody of my daughter who was removed from my home because of false allegations of abuse. She was given to her father who owes me $25,000 in back child support and lives in a 1 bdrm apt with 3 other adults. He lied in court about the number of adults living there. I was told to maintain a journal online that keeps track of every phone call, letter or visit I receive. I was told to note the date and time of every entry and detail as much as possible what was said. In one of these entries, Dad admitted to there being at least one other adult living there and that is now in the journal. My question is would this journal hold up in court if it was all I had? Thank you.

There were false allegations of abuse against my son and husband in regards to our two younger children. I am still fighting to prove the allegations false. In the meantime, my daughter (middle child) was removed from the home and given to her biological father. He lives in a one bedroom apt where there are 3 - 4 adutls living. My daughter sleeps on a loveseat .In court her father lied about the number of people living in his home. He has since admitted to me that at least one other person besides him and his wife live there however, he could always lie and say he never said. If I were able to get at least two of his neighbors to sign a statement that says "from this date to this date I have observed 3-4 adults living in apt X" would those statements be admissible in court?

Hi Folks,
I mean such as recent incident whereby I whizzed through a set of red traffic lights conveying an elderly gentleman to hospital, after a bump with a hit & run idiot.
The police caught up with me at A&E, and despite doing around 100mph down the local motorway, I was given "fair enough, mate"
So where do we stand ?
Is it reasonable to break a standing law if it transpires to be in the common good?
All thoughts & similar experiences thankfully recieved.

Bob.

Well, I thought I had this awesome job, I worked for an Entertainment Company. At first I was terrified of my boss, because of his crazy/scary temper. Then when I got to know him I thought he was kinda cool. Then I got to know him too well, (NOT SEXUALLY) He started getting smashed at work, doin coke and smokin weed, then I became his driver. I dunno, it was crazy so I quit. He still owes me my last pay, his g-frien called me to the house to pick it up and when I got there all I got was the stuff from my desk, she said he didnt want to write a check come back tomarrow for cash. I still have not recieved the money or a call back. Problom is though, I worked for cash, he didnt want the taxes done for some reason, he was also in the middle of an audit. Although I was not on paper, I made friends with a lot of the clients and performers, so in a way I have witnesses, does that hold any water? I have other things that are obvous signs I worked there too. sorry so long!please help.

So.. Im driving home from a long night at the clubs and the cops stop every single car for a sobriety checkpoint.. at least in california they pretend they are stopping you for a drivers license checkpoint.. in the state Im in now they make no bones about it .. straight out .. sobriety checkpoint... they had like 25 cars on tow trucks and another 15 people walking the line.. should this even be legal.. Im all for catching the drunk drivers if they are out of control.. but to me this seems to much like a police state.. and don't give me the you have a license and its a privledge excuse... If so then it should be the registry police (not the state police) pulling me over for a license check... even that goes against the constitution... what do you think?

I had several problems with my job at the Hotel. It was overwelming and very disciminative atmosphere which lead me to a dead end for 8 months...with No raise$ no Breaks while having extended work hrs. My report to Human Resourses for 3 months were ignored with No solution given to me NOT EVEN TO TRANFER ME IN ANOTHER DEPARTMENT when there were several open positions...actually I was forced to work in a very chaotic atmosphere with some trainee managers whom their job was to have 5 breaks to smoke...and midnight seat at Hotel's bar enjoying them selfs...while I was working to accomplish their uncovered responsibilities.
Trainnee Managers of course QUIT and I my self did the same 2 days after...What should I say to work labor department to convince them that this job was causing me emotional distress? I just want to collect my benefits until I get another full time job...The Hotel's HR director is trying to sabotage me not to get my Unemployment $$$ cause I quit...+ walked out...!

My baby is a week old, today I discovered that the hospital royally screwed up and put the wrong middle name down for my daughter! It took us going to her 1 week check up to discover this. I was NEVER asked her middle name while in the hospital but my husband had written it down on the nursery card. Instead they put my first name as her middle name. I know I signed something stating all information was correct - while I was completely sick and drugged up. Why they had me even attempt to do such a thing is beyond me.
The hospital Birth Certificate is wrong (the one with her footprints), the information sent to the county for her state BC is wrong, and the information sent to Social Security is wrong! I know I can go to the court house and get the state issued BC corrected, but what about Social Security, and the fact that the hospital BC is incorrect? What can I do about those? On the hospital BC-can I white-out the wrong name and put the right name Or does that make it invalid?

I ordered a uniform package for my daughter to parcipitate as a cheerleader in our local youth football league. In total over $200. And the league used an over seas vender, which in turn sent the wrong sizes. The league is not saying who ordered the wrong sizes or if there was a mistake in the ordering process. Yes it sounds petty but, ALL 75 girls game uniforms and practice uniforms where wrong. Either to big or to small. The league has said that they are out of money and have yet to come up with a correction despite parent complains. As a group (or individually), what are our options if they do not correct this problem? Thanks in advance.

If a person destroys goods, property, vehicles, etc. in the committing of a crime for which they were found guilty then why aren't they or their family held responsible to pay back all the financial loss? Why is it incumbant upon the owners or tax payers? A reasonable mind would conclude that if the criminal is help responsible then there would be less crime. I always wondered why that isn't the case and on what basis it isn't justified to hold people responsible for their actions.

My husband and I both work for the same employer, and have a 4 yr. old son. Our employer wants us to go on a grueling 3 wk. overseas trip, but we asked that one of us be excused, unpaid, so that we could stay home with our son. We were denied. We believe our son is too young to be without one of us for so long, and we also believe that he will suffer greatly on such a demanding itinerary (12,000 miles of travel over 20 days.) Anyone have any ideas for us? We believe that both options would be damaging to the health of our family. How can we get our employer to let one of us out of this trip? Thanks in advance.
