Freedom to do mostly anything in this country within small limits. Some persons think that it entitles them to be irresponsible in their actions. Lindsay Lohan and now Nicole Ricci are poor examples of freedom. Freedom to obtain a financial growth does not entitle you to exercise bad behavior. Responsibility to assist and lead as a figure head in a community setting is a more responsible goal. To assist in the
education and the support of youth in this country is a more noble cause. Reap what you sow. Children with guns with no leadership is dangerous. Can anyone see this?

What can you expect from these two when the president's twin daughters do the exact same thing, and act the very same way?

No wonder laura bush told the news media back in the year 2002 that she wished the "news media would just leave her family alone."

That was after, they were caught, and arrested, for using fake ID, to get into some of Texas' most notorious pick-up bars, and get drunk.

Besdies, a country is only as free as the nearest pad-locked prison door.

Let's not forget that there are more prisons in America, than there are schools.

I think American freedom has been blurred by the subterfuge of believing that it is something which WILL exist no matter what happens. I'll remind you that the people of America LOST freedom to save the world in WWII and rationed certain items like Sugar well into the 1950's.
It makes me wonder if there was a shared suffering, true compassion for the wars being fought and a shared desire to sacrifice for those freedoms which we all stand up and charge for if maybe people would value FREEDOM more and value it for what it is: a blood stained blessing.
In Iraq there are also civilian contractors and they wear civilian clothes and one day when I came back from a mission and was in the chow hall getting a to go plate- I was REALLY tired -I noticed a civilian wearing a jacket and on the back of it in HUGE LETTERS is said,
"Freedom has a taste the protected will never know."
Sadly true.

I think that with freedom comes responsibility. Too many people want the freedom without the responsibility and Lindsay, Nicole, Paris, etc... are the result.

What ever happened to those days when the USA was a pragmatic country. We worked hard and we were rewarded. Today it's all ideological junk. Freedom is like love. And as far as love is concerned, the divorce rate is about 60 percent.

break down the word and it means free to be dum,..Ha Ha,but all jest aside Freedom is a powerfull word...To the prisoner it means no more jail....for the victim it means no more violence...for the child it means no more worry...and for the parent it means peace from fear.In america a free society freedom is countered by law.to be free from law is to be lawless.and to be free is aaahhhh you get my point.Wavering between what should be freedom and what actually is will only drive you crazy. Freedom is as unique as sands on the worlds beaches. So contribute from your freedom to anothers need for freedom and maybe we can change the world.

Freedom doesn't mean "anything goes", if so we'd be living in a state of chaos.
