William Jefferson. You know him right? The guy caught with 90K in his freezer. The guy the FBI has on video taking bribe money from an undercover agent. In total up to 500K worth?

He has now been indicted.

Where is your outrage Dems? When Gonzales was put in testimony to answer to the firings of U.S. Attorneys, you Dems immediately called for his resignation before we really knew anything about what may have happened.
When Libby was "fingered" in the outing of Plame. Before there was any trial. Before there had been any testimony. You guy's wanted him hung up by his toenails. Fired and jailed.
So where is the strong language in regards to Jefferson? Where is your outrage? Where are the calls from prominent democrat leaders for his resignation?
Where? Where? Where?

I already know the answer. You guy's will never turn on your own no matter how badly they have conducted themselves. Bill Clinton is obvious proof of that.

I just want to hear you say it.

and regulations are here to benefit and protect the rich, the poor have no rights when it comes down to it. of course the laws written in black and white treat all equally, and the rich will even have to go through the same process as everybody else,e.g. if they are sent to court, but in the end, one way or the other they are givien more rights, they wont have to sit and rot as the rest of us. Why are we so passive, just sitting around un-coscious watching T.V. or whatever else it is we distract ourselves with?

soory, english is not my mother tounge.

Ok, I just asked a question about turning in people who are using drugs around my kids. I want to report them but I'm scared. I want to do it anonymously. I live in Ohio. Who can I call? What should I do and how to I keep them from finding me?

I have information about at least five drug users and who their dealer is, where they can be found etc. Normally, I would look the other way or call it right in. However, the problem is it is my husband's family and they are using around my underage step kids. I know the police would find drugs. I even know where to tell them to look. It upsets me that they use around my step kids and even my son once. I'm at my wits end. What should I do?

This may seem like a dumb question but really are the jails still responsible for making sure these people seek treatment..if they are on deathrow?

Why are bosses allows to dare mess with workers relationships without theirs being attacked in retaliation

Ie if Im in love and coupled with somone at work and a boss dares to threaten to sack, disciplin or in any way bully or attack us.

Should we not have the right to strike at his family on a see how you like it babsis or somehow break up their realtioship and force a divorce?

As long as doing the job (ie if fixing cars we fix cars even if you get the odd kiss or hug along the way).

what does it matter if you are in love.

As for your at work to work.

Most of your life will be at work and often the only people you have stuff in common with, get to know, and hang out with so therfore most likely to form relationships with.

A lot harder to chat someone up at a club.

Especailly with long hours and little time or money to go out to meet people. friends of friends does not work. its just the same friends.

So if your love is taken away why not attack

Paris was in solitary confinement. That is not what they do with normal inmates, Solitary confinement is the worst punishment you can give anyone and it’s usually reserved for the most violent criminals. And Paris is a very social person. She has learned her lesson leave her alone !

I have been in germany for a few years and see how there prostitues get taxed like a normal job.I think that would be something good for the states. So those people who are sex deprived can just go out and spend 50 bucks an a hooker and save some poor women the horrors of rape because some people cant get laid and resort to that terrible acction. So i am for the european 50 euro suck and f**k!
But of course that would be in my pre marrige days

It's my understanding bail is imposed if a person is a flight risk or is a danger to the public...but there have been cases of bail being imposed for non risk defendents....doesn't this imply the judge already finds them guilty before a trial?

I am moving to Canada (from Asia), and on several forms from the university I'm attending they have asked for Next of kin. Who should this person be? On my on-campus residence forms I provided them with my cousin's contact information who lives in Canada, because in case of emergency my parents won't be able to do anything. But is it the same for my accept/decline form? Generally is this about emergency and accident cases, or what?

I have a friend whose mother could probably be reported to social services, but no one in his family will do that to her. He is 17 and the last child at home. He doesn't want to hurt his mother, but he (and his extended family) believes that he would be better off living somewhere else. His mother is very manipulative and confrontational (she stands in my friends face and screams at him in the middle of the night after having made him work until really late on school nights.)She has also made it so that she controls his bank account and will not let him have access to his bank account that is also in her name. He wants to go live with his brother or father. Neither of them will stand up to her harrassment. He would leave and go live somewhere else, but he has to know that she cannot legally force him to go back. can anyone tell me what the law states in louisiana?

About a month ago I lost a court case and now will owe court costs and maybe even attorneys fees.

My lawyer took this case on contingency and after we had lost, he asked if I would "donate" some money for his costs which understandibly is probably close to $10k. I said I would because I felt bad and because he still has to represent me over the court costs and attorneys fees. So I just said it so he would fight harder for me.

Now he's sending email saying how come I haven't "donated" and that he could still bill me for work on litigating over the court costs.

If I don't "donate" any money he may not try hard and lose on purpose? What should I do????????

I have been in Fallujah, Iraq for the past ten months these time.
with what is going on over here and in the world today. I get 15 minutes to watch T.V. between reload and going back out to the city....... and this is what i see on the news..... Paris Hilton. I can do nothing but roll from this issue. not the fact that she broken the law three times...... but if you are a star or just rich, you get a get-out of jail free card. SO I ASK YOU ALL WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOR I YOU CAN PAY YOUR WAY OUT OF TROUBLE? hell maybe that what Iraq should do and this war would be pushed under the rug.

In a nut shell, I am talking about prison reform..I live VERY close to Florida State Prison so I see alot first hand. Recreation my *** The Criminals should have the same brought upon them as they did to thier victims..An eye for an eye. As for the drug users: I was never tempted so I do not understand the attraction, let alone the addiction, and the appeals proccess...? OMG what a waste of tax payer dollars..Speaking of dollars...How many of you are aware that it costs 267,000.00 +/- to house a state prisoner for one year..I don't live that well..Do you...? I read some good points but I still think that tent cities need to be set up in place of new prisons, with razor wire and shotguns..you try to escape....you die..no warning ...you get close to the fence.(being told the results of that)..plain and simple, bring in the body bag. They are CRIMINALS..sent to prison for commiting a crime...not to live and eat better than most of us who work for a living...TTYL

The latest card they are pulling has to do with Paris Hilton. They say if she was black this wouldn't happen...blah blah blah!!! Yet, how many black athletes get off on drug charges, weapon charges and even RAPE charges!!!! So, who is getting off light? That race card will get played one time to many soon. I can't wait for that time =)

I bought new peas, shelled, to make a soup. When I put them into the water, worms started surfacing, a lot of worms. So, now I am wondering: whose peas are these, legally? Do they belong to worms, since they were in possession, and moved in first, or are they mine, since I paid for them?
If the first is true, why they were sold to me?
If second: why the tenants were not evicted?
